"Ready babygirl?"
"Yes mommy."
I walked down the stairs in my white summer dress and white tennis shoes. My hair hung over my shoulders in loose waves and make up minimal with the exception of lipstick, eyebrows done and mascara.
Mommy had decided it was time for us to go out with some of her friends.
Jennie and jisoo unnies.
"Let's go let's go babe."
I giggled as mommy jogged over and lifted my up bridal style and made a mad dash to the front door.
We listened to the latest music that's out and sung together while mommy drove to the restaurant.
"Baby?"
"Yes?"
She sighed a little bit.
"I know I said we'd just hang out with them but I want you to be on your best behavior okay?"
I nodded.
"But-but why?"
"Because this is a double date."
"A double date?"
She nodded.
"Yup. Remember? Jennie unnie And jisoo unnie are dating."
I gasped. I completely forgot!
"Right! Wow mommy. You're smart you remember everything."
She smiled as she pushed a strand of hair behind my ear and pecked my nose softly.
"Yes I am baby."
She shifted to undo her seatbelt and get out of the car.
She ran over to my door and opened it, getting in a little to undo my belt and help me out.
She handed the keys to the valet and led the way inside the restaurant.
"Ready for our double date babe?"
I nodded my head.
"Mhmm. Ready."
But man.. I wasn't.
