Mommy and I had to end our shower quickly as I had a huge sharp pain in my stomach.
"Where does it hurt babe?"
"Here mommy."
I pointed to my lower stomach, almost over my womanhood and mommy sighed.
"I think you're getting your period."
Uh-oh.
"I'll call downstairs and see if they have any pads or something, okay?"
I nodded as she kissed my forehead.
We were so close.
Mommy, naked and under hot water and my tummy ruined it all!!
She came back into the room and smiled softly.
"Someone will be upstairs soon with some pads and tampons."
I nodded.
"I'm sorry mommy."
She looked at me confusedly.
"What are you sorry for babe?"
I sighed.
"I ruined our trip! I'm so stupid! I'm so sorry!"
I began to wail and throw a tantrum as mommy watched from the doorway.
She cracked a smile as I looked at her.
"Done?"
I nodded.
She slowly walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, grabbing my hand and placing kisses on the back of it.
"You didn't ruin anything babe, our vacation was never about sex, I mean it would've been great."
I hit her shoulder softly as we both smiled.
"No, I'm serious. This trip was about me and you spending time together. I have things planned and booked. You didn't ruin anything. You'd never ruin something intentionally."
I smiled as she placed a kiss on my forehead.
"Okay babe?"
I nodded.
"Okay mommy."
