We had just finished toy shopping and we're now going to another store, per mommy's request and also against my will, since mommy won't let me drive.
"Are we almost there?"
She sighed as I asked three times.
"Okay if you ask again your gonna sit on the chair when we get home. We get there when we get there."
I scoffed and crossed my arms.
She sighed lightly and brought her hand to my head and ran her fingers through my hair.
"Baby, we're almost there. Do you think you can be calm until we get there. Come on, it's a surprise. I can't tell you anything."
My ears perked, eyes widened and hand dropped.
"A surprise? Like a good surprise?"
She chuckled while grabbing my hand.
"Like a good surprise."
I nodded my head.
"Okay mommy I'll shut up now."
She rubbed her thumb on the palm of my hand and smiled.
"Hey baby?"
"Yes mommy?"
She stopped at a red light and looked at me.
"I love you."
I smiled and lowered my head before bringing it back up and rushing over to plant one big wet sloppy kiss on her lips.
"I love you too mommy."
