We finally pulled up to a restaurant, mommy's favorite restaurant.
We walked in, hand in hand and ignored all the stares from the pretentious people who think too highly of themselves to realize that we are human too.
(Sorry I just hate when people stare at couples of the same sex and give them dirty looks. It's called love and love can be between manxman or girlxgirl or manxgirl. Stop hating bc your too ignorant 🙄)
We sat in a private room that was adorned with some candles and tea roses.
"Here baby, sit down."
I nodded slowly and placed my bum on a seat. As soon as I did that, mommy sat and our food came right out.
"Chicken nuggets and fries for Ms. Lee and a steak with asparagus for Ms. Park."
"Thank you."
The waitress nodded and stood in the corner of the room and waited for her next task.
We ate quickly. In a comfortable silence while stealing glances at each other and mommy making funny faces at me.
I laughed hard at one that a fry flew out of my mouth and onto her plate.
"You may take these now and please do bring out the present and dessert."
She nodded a quickly went away with our empty dishes.
"Mommy?"
"Yes baby?"
"What are we doing here?"
She sighed lightly before grabbing my hands and looking at me in the eyes.
