It was nearly bed time and mommy had already gotten us food and dressed nicely for bed and even helped my with my girly issue.
I look up and I see mommy starting intently at the tv.
We're watching Friends because mommy said it's her "turn for the tele."
I sat quietly as I stare at mommy and notice everything I've noticed before.
Her sharp jawline.
Her pink plump lips.
Her small nostrils.
Her button-tip nose.
Her cute chubby cheeks.
Her skin smooth with no makeup on.
Her beautiful long eyelashes.
She's perfect.
I jump lightly as mommy turns her head and looks at me.
"What's up baby?"
I smiled softly as she kisses my head.
"In any pain? Hmm?"
I shake my head no.
"Are you hungry? Craving anything?"
Again I shake my head no.
She sighs with a light smile as I snuggle closer to her and sigh in content.
"Ahhh, I see. You just want some attention?"
I nod my head softly.
"Alright babe."
I hear the tele being turned off and feel mommy shift closer to me and hug me tightly.
With kisses placed on my head, mommy rubs my back.
"How you feeling baby?"
I shrug my shoulders.
"I don't know mommy. Okay I guess."
Mommy nods slowly.
"Maybe you just need some rest."
I nod as she places her head against mine and hugs me tighter, I didn't think she had that much strength.
We laid in a peaceful silence and soon fell asleep on each others arms, not ready for the torment of tomorrow.
