It's just another call, another person who found themselves in a bad situation and needed help. Until it's not just another call, and it becomes personal to Bobby Nash, because this was the young woman who saved him before— when he first arrived in LA.

Tatum Matthews had relapsed again— with anything she could get her hands on. She had been clean once, about a year ago, but after a few months, it happened again. Tatum had gone back and forth with sobriety, and it got harder as her support system started to crumble around her before her eyes. She had no one, but a stranger cared enough to call 9-1-1 when she overdosed again, and that stranger helped save her life.

But as the 118 fight to save her life, Bobby feels the obligation to stay with her— even when she reaches the hospital. He's there when Tatum wakes up again, and he's the first (and only face) she sees. Like she saved him before, he promises to save her and help her stay sober.

- Tatum once had a good life
- she had her family, she had a career, life was good
- and then she became an addict
- she lost her job and home, and began couch surfing
- her family did try to help (they are not the bad guys, I swear)
- but it got to a point, that they had to cut contact
- she was sober when Bobby got into town, but she kept going to meetings
- Tatum did eventually relapse
- and when she overdosed, it's the 118 that's dispatched to her location
- Bobby freezes because he knows her
- and he feels for her
- so after she wakes up again, they get back into touch and Bobby begins to support her in any way he can
- whether it's letting her stay on his couch, cooking her a decent meal or driving her to meetings
- he even gives her advice
- and for awhile, he keeps this away from the team
- but they do eventually find out
- and Tatum becomes like friend/daughter to Bobby
- this time, they don't lose contact
- Athena is weary at first (when she marries Bobby) bc she has arrested Tatum before
- but Athena becomes a mother hen after Tatum cleans up her act
- please show the recovery, because that is huge in this story
- Tatum will struggle, and she will battle with her physical and mental health
- but anything else is up to the author
