Natalie Adler had always known that she wanted kids, she wanted a family. Natalie just always thought that she'd settle in Sudbury, find Mr. Right and marry him, raise a family and continue her career as teacher. At least, that was the plan when she was seventeen years old, but almost twenty years later, that is totally not the case. Natalie is single, a teacher who is overworked and lives in a little cottage on the outskirts of Sudbury with her beloved cat. It was truly the life.

However, things begin to change when an old friend comes back to town and they rebuild their high school friendship. Natalie hadn't expected that phone call when Chris Evans asked to meet her again, for old times sake. It's like nothing changed after graduation, and it's all late night phone calls, sleepovers and drunken nights again. But as adults, there's definitely a slight change in their relationship.

They're desperate, separately of course. They both want kids of their own, and that time seems to be closing in on them, getting closer and suffocating them both. It's a pact, they make, they'll have a kid together— but that doesn't help the old crush that Chris used to harbor for Natalie. Who would've thought that a child pact would bring them together as lovers?

- if they get together right away or not is up to the author
- but Chris and Natalie are endgame and they have a healthy baby

 also, rachel nichols does not have a lot of gifs, but she's so cute and deserves recognition as an actress
