Aaron Hotchner didn't know what to expect when he was called in for a teacher/parent conference with his son's third grade teacher. He didn't expect to hear how well his son was doing and hear how well of a job that he was doing, raising his son on his own. He certainly didn't expect his son's teacher to be so attractive and for her smile to be stuck in his head.

Sabrina Evans didn't think much of it when she sent the note home with Jack Hotchner. She knew much of the child's story, and while she was surprised that his father showed up for the conference, she made to take the time and remind him how he was doing. She had seen all types of things in her career, and Aaron was doing the best he could in his situation. Sabrina wanted to bring a little positivity to him.

Little did either expect to develop feelings, or little did they expect the odds to stack against them. While it seems that everything is falling apart before something even started, all they've ever wanted was for someone to stay.

• her mother remarried when she was young, and Owen is Sabrina's little half-brother
• Owen is apart of the LGBT community, this caused their parents to disown them both
• Sabrina and Owen are very close
• she loves kids, and despite the environment she grew up, she's super friendly and kind
• her bad childhood is the reason she became a teacher
• Sabrina is known for giving her students positive reinforcement during class and does for the parents during conferences
• that's how she and Aaron met
• Sabrina is younger, like late twenties and early thirties. (No younger than 29)
• this whole thing is slow burn
• whether they actually get together is up to the author, but if they do end up together, I see it going up to season 12
