OC's Name → Amelia "Mila" KanePlot ↴
Amelia Kane was a first responder, a firefighter; and she loved her job. Everyday she fought fires, pulled people from car crashes and even helped the elderly when they had a hard time breathing. Everyday, Mila did what she loved.
Until Mila noticed a pattern in the fires that her teams were fighting, and the casualties were too similar. She told her captain about the patterns and they consulted the local police department. Thanks to the few psychology classes that she took in college, Mila accidentally discovered that a serial killer was loose in Quantico. More and more bodies were piling up, and the BAU is called to consult the local case.
And Amelia is stuck in the middle.
Upon being stuck in the investigation, she guides the agents to each of the scenes and tell them her knowledge. Dr. Spencer Reid was among them, and certainly surprised at the firefighter's knowledge of their unsub. She intrigued him too.
During the investigation, Spencer finds any reason to talk to Amelia, even if it is awkward, and get to know her. Then add the meddling best friend, and the two finds themselves becoming closer, until the case is done and the killer is caught.
But Amelia isn't letting this go so soon, and gives Spencer her number. Maybe Spencer found himself respecting first responders a little more as he comes to terms with his feeling for Mila.
Extras ↴
- Mila took human psychology classes in college, so she knows a little profiling
- she's sassy, but sweet all around
- she's intelligent too
- She's very respected by her captain and her team because she works hard.
- Amelia finds Spencer endearing, and dorky, especially when he gets awkward
- because she discovered the bodies/patterns and knows some profiling, Aaron invited her to work with them.
- during this time she does get close with some of the team, like Derek and JJ.
- Derek does tease Amelia, like saying she should join the FBI or how Spencer has a crush on her
- when asked why she became a firefighter, she answers with "I didn't like psychology enough, but I love fire" while grinning
- stupid fact, but if you look in her junk drawer at home, it's filled with lighters
- while she likes fire, Amelia is not reckless
- she only becomes reckless when needed, like she has to rescue someone
- if she and Spencer are endgame, is up to the author but do explore their feelings for another and explore their relationship tooPASSWORD;
