Lucy Sumner hated high school with every inch of her being. It was hell, and couldn't get much worse. Until it did.

One of her friends, Miley Hughes, is murdered on her way home from school, and the NYPD don't have much to go on. Fueled by the anger from the grief, Lucy decides to do something about it. She'll be like Spider-Man, and she'll put on a mask to make sure that criminals pay for their actions if the NYPD can't do it.

In her pursuit for justice and revenge, she's stopped by Spider-Man. But she won't listen to what he has to say, not as long as people are getting away with crime. So, instead, Spider-Man helps her slay her dragons in order to complete the hero's journey and she can return home safely.

• Lucy hates high school enough, when her best friend doesn't get justice after her murder, Lucy just hates the world
• after seeing YouTube video of Spider-Man, she decides to become a vigilante behind a mask
• her vigilante name is justicia (justice in spanish)
• at some point, Ajax finds out about her being a vigilante
• Ajax will ask to be a sidekick, but is rejected
• one day after school, Justicia + Spider-Man meet
• it doesn't go well that first time
• but they always bump into each other
• and sometimes they talk
• Peter shares why he became Spider-Man
• and Lucy shares why she became Justicia
• basically, she just wants justice bc she feels that the NYPD can't do their job
• and Peter recognizes that instantly
• and as they fight crime and such, Peter tries to help Lucy work past her issues
• but they still don't know each other's faces and they don't go to the same school, so they don't recognize each other's voices either
• this is a slow burn
• and after Lucy works through her grief, it is optional that they reveal their identities to one another
• and if there is a relationship between them, that is up to the author
• the ending is also up to the author, but Lucy must work through her grief first
