Joan king

Today is the d-day joan will be getting marry to Kenneth smith the one her parent choose for her

She walked down to the aisle with her dad ,handing her over to Kenneth and the priest proceed with all the wedding thing

'Do you Kenneth smith take Joan king as your lawfully wedded wife  in good health and in sickness for poorer  for richer to cherish her as long as you both shall live'

'I do'

'Do you Joan king take Kenneth smith as your lawfully wedded husband in good health and in sickness for poorer for richer to cherish him as long as you both shall live'

Thousand of thought running through her mind is she really ready  to sail through this alone ,no,she's not close to ready,but she have no choice but to say it ,to say the word that would seal her fate completely.

'I do'she said the word,feeling the weight heavily on her tongue

They both put the ring into each other ring finger

'By the power bestowed on me I pronounce you two husband and wife ,you may kiss the bride '

They kiss eachother briefly on  the lips and  move to the reception ,where they were congratulated by people ,they cut the cake and while talking to someone ,joan's friend Jane came to her and she  excuse herself from the group they were talking to.

'You are now a married woman'jane said feeling sorry for her friend whose marriage wasn't based on love

'Yeah force to be at 24'Joan said bitterly,reminding herself once again that there is no way out of it for her she wish there is one

'I wish you happiness'jane said to her praying in her mind that her friend will one day find the happiness she deserves,she deserved to be loved ,that's one thing for sure after everything she has went through

'Happiness, come on Jane you and I know I won't be happy but don't worry I will be fine 'joan said breaking jane out  of her train of thought.

'Are you sure you will be fine'Jane asked and joan nodded trying to assure her self that she would,she knew for sure her friend is worry for her and the last thing she need is pity.

'I will thanks for your concern'she replies forcing out a smile.

'Welcome, if anything comes up don't hesitate to call me okay'jane said to her as she was thankful she has a friend like hers.

'OK I ....'

' can I have my wife we need to dance'ken said once she reach them breaking their conversation.

Here comes Kenneth to interrupt us

'Of course you can'jane said and smile before walking away from them

He put out his hand and joan hold it while they walk to the dance floor  he put his left hand on her waist and the other holding her right hand ,she  put her other hand on his chest while they move to the rhyme of the song with each other busy with their thought .

He decided to break the silence and she wish he never break it because what he say shattered her heart more than it was already.

'So how was it I mean the wedding thing'

'What do you think ,that I will be happy right ?'

'Same with me too I'm not '

'Then why did you marry me?'

'I marry you because I need to get the deal'

'I knew from the start the day that i was told I will be getting marry'

'Good you know you are unwanted'its wasn't what she expected and at the same time she wasn't surprised the word came from his mouth,he is always known to be heartless and rude,she knew what she was expecting now,she knew the guy will never love her and she will be the ghost of herself for the rest of her life or at least when they decided to file for a divorce .
