They got home and walk out of the car,she walked to her room and took a shower ,she wear her PJ's and lay on her bed as the event of today came flashing back in her mind,she thought of how she ended up being with a man like him,it totally clear that he would never care for her and all the hope she had again was buried deep in her stomach,her love for the man will never be reciprocated.
'How do I get married to a jerk'she thought ,
She remember the day her dad break the news of getting marry to her.

She get back from her friend's house and walk to the house
'Mom,dad I'm back'she said from the sitting room
'Welcome honey 'her mom replied from the kitchen and she walk to her giving her a peck on the cheek and smile as the sweet aroma coming from her mother's pot hit her nose,she has always love her mother's food.
'My favourite daughter, you are back 'her dad said when he walk to the kitchen and she rolled her eye at her Father's statement,having gotten used to her father calling her his favorite daughter though she is their only child.
'Dad I'm your only daughter 'she called over her shoulder as she popped a grape in her mouth chewing on it slowly
'Yeah right'her father said dramatically like he has forgotten she is their only daughter.
Today is Saturday, they don't usually go out and if They do they come back early to spend the day together
'Honey go take a shower ,the food will be ready in....15'her mother said as she stir whatever is in the pot.
"OK mum " she said and walked to her room quickly taking a shower she walk out and saw her parent already sitting around the table
"Waiting for you honey "her mother said and started dishing their food
'Sorry for keeping you guys waiting'she said sitting opposite her mum and next to her father
They started eating their food silently before her dad break the silence
"Princess"
"Yes dad'
" you will be getting marry in a month"her dad blurted out,her spoon dropping from her hand and look at her dad to her mum and then back to her dad,seeing her father isn't joking with the serious look on his face
"You're joking right?" She asked like she didn't know already that her father is not joking
"Honey,this is not the time to tell her at least let finish eating first" her mum said and she tense realising her mother already know about it and there is no way she is getting out of the suppose marriage with she doesn't even know his name yet and haven't even met
"You people are playing prank on me right ?"she asked once again not wanting to believe anything
"No honey,you will be getting marry in a month " her mum said squeezing her hand that is resting tensely on the table
"Dad,mum I'm 24 but why ?I'm still young "she asked hoping they will change their mind
"It's for your own good ,you know you don't want to have anything with man after what he...."her mother trailed off and she cut her not wanting to hear about the man again
"Don't talk about him,mum" she cut her closing her eye as she remembered everything again,she wanted to block the memory
"I'm sorry princess I have to arranged marriage you with Kenneth smith so you can forget about him"her father said and she sighed,she thought,Kenneth smith of all people,her father has to arranged her with the most arrogant guy she has ever heard of
"Dad..."
"Sorry princess, I already made up my mind"
"Dad,I can't marry him,I don't even known him"she said trying to make her father change his mind,how can she even be with someone she knew nothing about
