Chapter 11:scared

She wake up in the middle of the night breathing heavily, she look around the room like someone is there to hurt her, she yanked the bedsheets off her and jump out of the bed, she open her room door and slam it shut.

She open Ken's room in a hurry and stand by the door

'Ken'she called and he sit up straight rubbing his eyes,she walk to him,he open his arm and hug her while she sob into his chest

'Sssssssssshhhhhhhh,it's OK, I'm here baby nobody will hurt you '

'Ken,I'm scared,I saw him again ,it feel so real'she said

'Believe me baby ,I won't allow him to hurt you,nobody will hurt you OK 'he said while he stroke her hair in a comforting manner

She was able to calm down after sometime,she look up at him and he has a concerned look on his face

'Thank you'

'Anytime love'he replied and kiss her forehead

'Can I ....stay here'she asked like she have been doing for the past weeks

'You are always welcome baby,now let get you to bed'he replied

She climb on him to the other side of the bed,she  lay on the bed while he pull the duvet on her,putting her head on his chest and he stroke her hair before she find herself loosing conscious to the dark,she  slept off

she wake up to her head on something hard,she open her eyes and close it immediately cussing herself for opening it so quickly, she open it slowly making sure she adapt to the light in the room

she sit up straight and look around the room noticing its not her room but ken's room,she's not surprise because this is how she have being waking up,sleeping in her room and waking up in ken's room

she have been having the same nightmare since the day she saw Drake at the park ,the past she  dreaded most and try to bury long time ago are now crawling back to her

Her greatest fear

Ken knew about this nightmare but he never pressured her on it,he never asked her about it, which she's grateful for,he knew she's not ready to open up to him but he can see the look on his face is telling her to tell him, to share her pain with him.

She look at ken who is still sleeping, his face so cool and relax, free from worry and problems

she get out of bed and walk to the bathroom, she brush her teeth with the extra brush she see in the closet,she wash her face and walk out of the bathroom, deciding on preparing breakfast before he wake up ,she walk down the stair to the kitchen getting down to cooking

'Good morning love'she heard ken voice

'Good morning'she replied without looking up from the pot placed on the cooker

A pair of arm wrap  around her waist and place on her tummy which send shiver down her spine and she tensed up before relaxing back,her back pressed against his hard chest, his mint scent missed with after shave fill her nostril, meaning he just get out of the bathroom, she look up at him.

Seeing him dressed up for work,she smile at him and return back to cooking, he kiss her exposed neck which make her bite her lips to prevent the moan that is trying to escape her mouth,her cheeks turn pink,trying to hide it and ken preventing himself from laughing because she could feel his chest vibrating for awhile

'Good too know I have an effect on you'he  said before biting her ear and walking to the chair ,he sit down while she placed  the food in front of him before serving herself, she sit on the chair beside him

'There is a ball party tonight hold by one of the investors'he said

'OK,so you will be coming home late?'she  asked

'No,I will be home around seven so dress up before then,we will be going together'he replied while sipping from his tea

'Do I need to be there?'she asked reluctant to go because the last time they went to one, it did not end well

'Of course baby,we are to come with a date,I can't just go with some random girl when I have a wife at home 'he replied smiling at her while she return it

'Ok'i said

'So,I was thinking about something and I don't know how you will react to it'he said and look at her ,raising her eyebrow in confusion, she set her cup down and give him her full attention

'And what could that be?'

'I was thinking maybe you should move your thing to our room,I'm not saying you have to but you can, if you feel like staying in our room,considering the fact that you have been having this nightmare for weeks now,I don't like seeing you in pain and seeing you coming to the room every night looking scared hurt me,it's not like I'm complaining but maybe if you see me beside you,you will stop having those nightmare'he said while she listen to him

'Ken,I appreciate how much you care about me,you never asked me why I keep having the same nightmare every day but you know, I just don't want to be a burden to you'she replied conciously

'You are not a burden to me,Joan, you should know I really care about you,I hate seeing you scared of sleeping, I mean it when I say I love you, so don't even think about you being a burden to me'he said and stoke her cheek giving her a smile

'Thank you'she said before standing up and packing the plate in front of them,she put it in the sink and start washing it,a pair of arm wrapping around her,he lean down and bit her earlobe while she try to bite her lips preventing herself from moaning

'And is that a yes?'he asked huskily

'Yes,I will shift my thing later'she replied trying to stay calm while he kiss her neck

'You can ask Rose to help you,I did not use half of the closet to make it easier for you'he replied kissing her again but more longer this time and a moan escape her mouth as he continue having his assault on her ,having to moan again and he groan.

she feel something hard press against her butt which make her gasp while he force out a deep breath which send shiver around her body and her kneel become weak

'Ken...'she called in a whisper

'Only you, only you drive him crazy like this'he whisper before stepping back away from her and close his eye trying to control himself as much as she's trying to control herself too,she face him and adjust his tie

'You don't want to be late for work right?'she asked

'In as much it is for you,I'm ready to take the risk'he replied kissing her forehead

'Now go,I don't want to be the reason why you are late for work'I replied

'OK love,get ready before I return,I love you baby'he said and kiss her lips before walking out with his briefcase in one hand and his phone in the other hand pressed against his ear and giving instruction to someone

I love you too

She finish up with cleaning the plate retiring to her room well nursery room as ken put it and moving her thing to ken's room with Rose's help.
