Chapter 9:nightmare

Its been two good weeks that they get back from the family get together and Kenneth has being really nice,he shower her with care and attention, let say they get along with each other,she still don't know what he think about her but she just know she feel safe and secure about it,she never try to get on his nerve,she make sure she make breakfast for him before he goes to work and cook dinner before he return

But he couldn't wait to have breakfast today because he have an early meeting so she decided to take it to his office,this is not the first time she's going there so it's no big deal,she dress up and left the house.

She walk out of the house with the food flask in her hand and holding her bag on the other hand ,she step inside the car while Matt drive out of the house down to Kenneth's office

She get down and walk to the private elevator after she was greeted by the workers ,the elevator stop at the last floor and she step out ,the secretary wasn't on her desk so she proceed to Kenneth's office

On getting there ,the door was left slightly open,she open it and she couldn't believe what she saw,she can't seems to digest all what is going on in the office, they did not even notice her presence, sitting on Kenneth's lap is a blonde hair girl,they kept on sucking each other,she close the door without any crack ,she discard the bag in the trash can near the receptionist desk,walking back to the elevator and telling her self that its not worth crying, she step into the elevator and press the ground floor,she make sure she put on her normal face,she walk up to the car and step in.

'Matt,drive me to any nearest park you know'she said to her personal driver and guard,as Ken said it not save for her to go around without one.

'Yes madam'

'Joan king, never cry on something that does not worth it,he never want you in the first place,he only put on an act to make you feel at home,he doesn't love you,you are unwanted'she kept repeating it in her head

She try telling her self all this,but it hurt more,she never knew she has fall deeply in love with him that much,she keep telling her self not to  fall for him but the more she try to draw back the more she fall deep into the pit of love ,she never knew it will hurt that much ,now she's broken ,she's shattered and there is nothing she could do about it than to wait and hope the guy notices her and hopefully fall for her too.

They say love is sweet but to her it is the most hurtful thing she knew,she has never being loved before in any intimate way,all they want from her is to get into her pants,she thought Ken was different,she thought she could at least feel it from the man she's marry to,he lead her on and now she's broken all over again.

'Madam we are there'matt voice brought her out of her thought

'Thank you Matt,I will be right back'she said and step out of the car, she walk around the park,finding an empty sit,she walk to it and sit,and here she's back to her own world

She never want to fall in love with him but she do without knowing when or how,maybe its when when she met him for the first time for lunch after her father dropped the bomb,she couldn't even think of when and how she fall for him when all he has ever do foe her is always breaking her heart in the end.

After sitting for some time trying to relax her mind, her hand automatically turning her ring around not even noticing it,she look shocked when she saw someone she dreaded most ,she was praying he does not see her but to late he does

Her worst nightmare

'Wow,never thought we are going to see again'the man said smirking and she froze,he is still the same as far as she could remember.

'What do you want Drake?'she said with the last confident she have

'Happy to see me again?'

'Yeah,in your dream'

'Watch your tongue girl'

'What do you want ?'she asked desperate to be anywhere but here,thinking she shouldnt have come here in the first place if only she knew she will run into this man here.

'We have unfinished business remember'

'No I don't ,I broke up with you long time ago'she replied too quickly

'To bad I can't leave you until I get what I want'he said smirking

How she want to slap it out of his face

'Drake I'm married,what you want from me has been taking by my husband'she said looking around hoping Matt will be in sight but her hope crumbled immediately realizing she is to far to be seen by her guard.

Big fat lie Joan king

'I still want a taste of it'

'To bad you can't get it because I'm already taken'she said trying to walk out but he grip her hair and drag her back making her hiss in pain

'Remembered you don't walk out on me'he said gripping tightly on her hair and too bad everyone at this park is minding their business

'Drake,its hurt'

'That is my intention in the first place,to hurt you till you beg for mercy'

'Drake let go of my hair'she whisper yelled while his grip tighten more

'That's what you get for trying to walk out on me'he said with venom in his voice

'Let go of her'a voice which she couldn't mistake said but the grip tighten more

Kenneth

'Let go of my wife'he said again before she was let go while she step aside away from the two

Ken throw a fist at Drake he fall to the ground and wince in pain, ken grip him on the neck and swept him off from the floor while he gasp for air

'The next time you try that on my woman will be the end of you and you know me too well Drake Bass, you know me,I will destroy you,I will make you suffer that you will be wishing for death ,I don't make empty threat ,don't come near my woman again or you will be done for, am I clear ?'Drake nod and with that she walk away stepping into the car and telling Matt to drive her home

'How do they know each other?'she couldnt help but wonder

Kenneth is her life saver but she can't just get the fact that he cheated on her out of her mind

On getting home she treat herself with a warm long bath just to relaxed her mind while she was lost in her thought

All the memory she bury long ago are now crawling back to her
