Loss is the only thing that scares me.
Can you imagine what the stars say when another star falls from the sky?
Can you imagine what nature feels when everything gets ravished by humans?
Can you imagine what the red rose senses when it gets picked between a garden full of whites?
It's a loss for them, but a win for you.
Yet, how would you feel if something gets stolen from you? If someone close to you dies?
Numb. Like you have fallen in an eternal sleep.
But, how would you react if you lost something that wasn't yours in the first place?

Mr. Park was silently observing the coffin penetrating the earth's soil, just like pain pierced through his heart. Numbness was the only emotion he was capable of feeling at that moment. First he lost his beloved dad and then his first child died. Now the only person that reminded him of his roots, of his descent, became an angel as well.
Minjae was holding back her tears, while the thirteen year old was quietly sobbing in her arms. It wasn't just the aspect of death and loss that scared Jimin. The outcome of the situation was the thing that scathed him the most. How would people react? How would his parents cope up with his grandma's death? The memory of her cold, lifeless frame withering on his shoulder was literally breaking his heart. It was his parents and him now. No more relatives. He had to make them proud.
But how?
