I sat on my bed and looked around my new room. It was nice I guess, the walls were a dark shade of blue and my bed sheets and pillow cases where black. I had a large window with a place to sit down and look out into the woods. I had my own bathroom and a big closet where all my clothes and other belongings were. It wasn't as bad as I pictured it would be, it's a lot nicer actually. Nicer then my old room if I'm being honest. It was very spacious. I liked it.

I had a desk and a chair beside the window with a small lamp and resting on the desk was my sketch book. I took a seat at the desk and flipped through some of my drawings when I came to the last one I did. It was a rough sketch of my older brother Ashton, one I never finished because he wouldn't sit still long enough to get all his details. I read the date and it had been almost four months since I did this drawing. During that time my family started to drift apart and everything was falling down hill. My parents were in so much debt, my dad lost his job, we were on the brink of losing our home and to top it off I was failing school.

I wonder if my family even knew I was gone, or even cares. I can't say I was really the favourite, I knew I wasn't, I tried so hard to be but nothing I did felt like it was good enough compared to Ashton.

I sighed and decided to try and do some sketching since its been a while the last time I did. I needed something to help calm my nerves a bit. I put my headphones over my ears and choose a song to put on. I looked through the drawers and found my set of sketching pencils, eraser and sharpener. I still find it odd how all my stuff got here. I flipped to a blank page and began sketching the first thing that came to mind.

After about an hour or so I started to grow bored of drawing this portrait of a Timber Wolf so I closed my sketch book and put my pencil set and other stuff on top of it. I got up pulling my headphones off my ears letting them hang loosely around my neck and my music faintly playing. I took a seat at my window sill and looked outside into the gloomy dark forest listening to my music.

I'll probably be spending most of my time in my room but I did that back home anyways so it's nothing new.

I heard a faint knocking on my door and I turned in its direction to see Jeff standing there. Oh gosh what does he want?

"Hey Kyler mind if I come in?" I just shrugged my shoulders and he came and invited himself to lay down on my bed resting his hands behind his head. "I was bored just sitting around in my room so I wanted to see what you were doing."

I just looked at him then back out the window as small droplets hit the glass and slowly slid down. It was starting to rain.

"You know you don't have to be so afraid of us." I broke my attention from the window and looked at him but I didn't say anything. "I don't know what none sense Slender has told you and I will admit we can be a pain in the ass at times but for the most part we're all pretty decent." I stared at him for a bit as he just looked up at the ceiling in silence. I really didn't know what to say, I mean Slender has told me many things about these, I don't even know if you would consider them as people. And he told me if anyone hurts or threatens me to go to him right away. Why would I be brought to such a place? Kidnapped from my home. Taken in the middle of the night. Why me? This is something straight from a bad movie or a poorly written fan fiction.

"Kyler?" Jeff's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked over and he was standing beside me, I knew my face was turning red from pure anxiety so I turned my head away.

"Sorry." I guess I was so lost in thought I completely tuned out everything he was saying to me.

"Its okay, why don't you come join the rest of us down stairs."

I shrugged my shoulders again "Um maybe later." My voice being very quiet and nervous sounding.

"Alright, I'll see you later then." Jeff said and once he was gone I exhaled a shaky sigh I didn't even know I was holding in.

I got up and grabbed some more comfortable track pants from my closet dresser and took off my jeans, replacing them with the more comfortable baggy pants and crawled into bed. I pulled my headphones over my ears and let my music escape me from this place.

I soon drifted off to sleep.
