Chapter 25: Final

It's been just over a year now since I first came to Slender's Mansion.

I turned seventeen three months ago, Jeff turned eighteen a month before me and we recently had our one year anniversary as well.

Lots has happened this past year and Honestly, despite all the ups and downs in the past and any other incidents that may come along the way, I wouldn't be happier with anyone else.

Being here has changed me and for the better I think, I'm not a shy, sensitive, keep to myself kind of guy anymore.
My anxiety has settled, my depression is more of a memory and my health is at its best, not to mention I wouldn't be this way if it weren't for Jeff helping and encouraging me along the way. He's definitely earned the boyfriend of the year award that's for sure.

I came out to Jeff not to long ago about the secret lessons with EJ and well, he wasn't to happy but not really mad about it either just neutral I guess. He asked to see what I've been taught and after demonstrating some of the things I've learnt he said I have a real 'gift' in the way of using knives but I think it was merely because I had a good teacher.

Jeff stepped in to give me some more advanced lessons and EJ agreed I've improved a lot since I've started and felt I needed a more experienced teacher and who better then Jeff The Killer right?

I was sitting at the kitchen table working out some new moves that Jeff, Eyeless and I, have been working on and writing down some new ideas to add into the move set.

I heard the front door open and someone shuffle into the house but I didn't look to see who it was, I wanted to finish this and not get distracted.

"Hey Kyler I got you something." I heard Jeff say from behind me, I swung around facing Jeff who had a big smile on his face with hands behind his back.

I smirked. So much for no distractions.

"You know you didn't have to get me anything right." I laughed and turned back around.

"Well you got me something for our one year and I felt bad because you kept telling me not to get you anything but I finally found the perfect gift for you."

"The thing I want, I already have which is you and you're already perfect." I turned and looked back at him and he had a slight blush on his cheeks.

"You're cute, but look really, I think you'll like it." He pulled his hand around from behind him and held a black bag in front of me. I smirked at him and reached for it.

He told me to open it so I did. I reached inside and pulled out an oddly heavy and poorly (but a cute attempt though) at a wrapped box. I undid the wrappings and I opened the box and literally screamed.

I have a lot of things I'm a fan of like music and art, but one thing I'm hugely obsessed with is The Walking Dead, and sitting right in front me were the DVD box sets of all the current seasons. I kept telling Jeff he had to watch it and I would do what ever it takes to get my hands on a copy of this show and make him sit down and see it.

And now I have them.

I literally jumped out of my chair and hugged him, I've wanted these for ages!

"Oh my god thank you! I love it!" In a way I have grown up, but I will always have my kiddish outburst when it comes to things I love.
