I woke up early the next morning to see Jeff with his arm still around my waist and slightly blushed when I realized he was still naked. I quietly shimmied out from under his arm carful not to wake him and went to the bathroom to have a quick shower.

I dressed in a clean pair of spiderman boxers, black skinnies and a walking dead shirt. I grabbed a pair of fresh socks and my favourite snapback, putting it on after fixing my morning bed head shower catastrophe and headed down stairs to meet up with Eyeless Jack. He was going to start giving me lessons on how to use knives properly and show me some self defence moves, even though the best to teach me about knives would be Jeff but he wont teach me and if he found out I'm doing this

Well, he'd kill me.

But I'm actually quite excited to be honest, I have always wanted to learn how to defend my self and to learn how to fight and stuff but I had no one to teach me. It will help a lot when Im out running errands for everyone which Jeff just doesn't seem to understand.

I scurried down stairs and met EJ in the kitchen grabbing a couple cold water bottles from the fridge and tossed one to me.

"Still up for this?" Eyeless asked when I placed the bottle he tossed me on the counter.

"Yeah of course but don't tell anyone especially Jeff if he found out he'd be pissed." I said with a slight laugh and fixed my hat.

"I wont. Come on let's get started, oh and props for your shirt by the way. the walking dead is bad ass." I laughed.

EJ walked past me, patting my shoulder and heading towards the front door. I followed him, shoved on my worn out converse and closed the door and we walked further into the forest to begin the lessons.

You're probably wondering why of all people I asked Eyeless Jack to teach me, well it's because I think he's defiantly one of the strongest in the house, up there with Ben and Jeff but I'd never ask Ben to teach me, not after what he did, I still hold that against him to this day but me and EJ, we've gotten pretty close over the past month or so.

I was down stairs in the kitchen one night, back when me and Jeff were forbidden to see each other, and to be blunt I was looking for a knife or some sort of weapon to bring with me on my plan of trying to escape. EJ came down stairs, it was just the two of us. I was worried he would rat me out but Long story short, he convinced me to put the knife down and go back upstairs and that he was going to try and help me. I asked him why he was being so nice to me. He said, I never gave him a reason not to be.

It wasn't till about a week ago he came to see me when I was still bed ridden and we sort of hung out for the first time and it was pretty nice. I mean there wasn't much we could do with me laying in bed but it really lifted my spirits.

I asked him if he could teach me to fight and defend myself like they do and it was a yes as soon as I popped the question and that's how all of this happened. It feels great having more friends, having more people to talk to and hang with when I need a break from Jeff or just when I need someone else to be with for a bit. I don't feel as left out as much and once I get some training in I definitely wont feel as pathetic and useless as I did before.

"Alright so the first thing you need to know is how to properly hold and grip your knife." EJ explained once we stopped walking. He pulled out a knife from the bag he brought with him and handed it to me. "This is now your knife, think of it like an extension to your self. You don't want to grip it to tightly but also not to loose, a strong enough grip so you can still hold on to it, stab and slash with it but without choking up on it either." He demonstrated how to hold the knife in different ways when going to stab someone or when your going to cut, jab or slash. "Here you give it try."
