Web Of Lies

The three of us are all best friends because we all have something in common; We each are missing a parent. My father left me when I was six for no reason at all. It didn't bother me much though, since I was only six at the time...I'm sixteen now, so I don't really care. Besides, I have my mom now anyway.

Shiela and Star, (her full name is Starletta) all are missing our Fathers.

Shiela's past is a bit rough. Her parents used to be assassins, and that was how they met. However, when her mother found out that she was pregnant with her, her mom actual killed her dad for it and hid the body. Lucky for Shiela, her mom decided to keep her. On the other hand, Shiela ended up running away anyway since she didn't like her Mother to begin with.

I found her on MY roof. From my room, there is a balcony and I like to climb up onto the roof and gaze at the stars. But one night, I found her sitting there with her knees up against her chest, I sat down beside her...And she ended up living with mom and I! So we basically adopted her. She spent the night every night and we went to school together and everything. That's how Shiela and I became friends.

Now Star...Well, her's is more of a funny story. Both of her parents were assassins as well, but she has never met her Father though. Well, her mom is an ex-assassin, but whatever. Anyway, Star's Father left them because he was upset that her mom decided to have a "normal" life so she could raise Star. So, Star never met her father.

And I guess because of that, she's very mischievous. I met her because she decided to play a prank on some boys...And well, of course they didn't appreciate that much at all, so they chased her down the street and of course I happened to be standing in front of some trash cans that Star had dove in between to hide.

The boys stopped when they saw me and asked me if they'd seen Star. I nodded, pointing the other direction and the boys took off. And that is how Star and I became friends.

And that is how the trio formed. I introduced Star and Shiela to each other and now we are best friends. Star is fifteen, I am sixteen, and Shiela is seventeen. Lucky for us, school in our town ends in tenth grade...As in, we graduate in tenth grade. So, we can go off and do whatever we want since we don't have school anymore.

We usually like to go out of town by this small stream. On the other side of the stream is a large area of trees. We like to go and investigate sometimes because there are plenty of rumors about that area...Adults probably just say it to scar away children. But obviously that doesn't scare us because we each have our own weapon we made ourselves.

Shiela has a scythe. She's the one who cuts down plants in our way when were in the woods. Star had a single dagger that she conceals so nobody knows she has it. Me, I have two daggers for both of my hands.

And I was glad that we all had weapons...Because of what was in store for us in the near future...We were going to need it.

When you had come and joined us, making us three turn into four...Everything changed. And it all began, when you were kidnapped....
