Kara's POV
I get back home to see a note.
I'm sorry I missed you. Family emergency back home. Won't be back for a week after your trip.

Great. Now I have to wait another week to tell him. I thought.
Day later
"Mommy!" Amber said running up to me.
"Amber! How was your week? Did you have fun?" I asked her.
"Yeah." She said smiling.
"Ok, well. You can tell me about it in a minute. I need to talk to your dad." She runs off. "So, how was she?" I ask Finn.
"Good. She really liked being with my parents. How are you? Where's your boyfriend?" He replies.
"Fine and he's out of town." I said.
"Oh, be careful you know what happens when a person in a relationship goes out of town." Finn said to me with a smirk.
"Oh shut up." I say almost closing the door.
"Daddy! Can you stay? Please." Amber came running up begging.
"You have to ask your mom." He bent down and said.
"Oh, please Mommy?" She said to me.
"If you want sweetie." I said.
"Yay! Daddy you can stay!" She cheered.
After dinner
The dinner was good I did feel tense with Finn. But, he is a good dad.
"Amber why don't you go get dressed for bed?" I said. She pouted. "Daddy will tuck you in but, only if you hurry." This time she runs out right away.
"You are really great with her." I say.
"Thanks. It's really fun."
