The girls were walking home after a long and exciting day, and as normal teens around their age, they were talking about the days happenings. They happened to be talking about their transformations into Precure, and the fact that Mai's father had now become a benefactor of the Hip Hop Arena.
Daitan: I can't believe that your father decided to be our benefactor! Your father is a generous man and I am looking forward to future dancing endeavours there!
Mai: I know! I didn't think so either!
As Daitan was explaining the transformations they did earlier that day, Mai paused out the front of the school she stopped in front of earlier in the day. She spots the same girl she waved to earlier on her walk to school. Daitan takes notice to Mai standing at the school gates and wanders over to stand beside the girl who seemed to be staring off into space.
(OP: Let's Dance on)
Daitan: You okay, Mai? What are you staring at?
The questions go unanswered until she stopped beside her friend, and saw her staring at the girl on the schools oval. With a few snaps of her finger in front of the frozen girls face, Mai was brought out of her trance that results in Daitan overcome with laughter.
Mai: What are you laughing at?
Daitan: Nothing, do you want to go and meet her?
Mai: Who?
Daitan: The girl you were staring at. Come on!
Mai: Whoa!
Being grabbed by arm and dragged toward the girl who she'd been staring at, the blonde haired girl who had heard the commotion and moved out of the way of the practically dragged girl Mai, and the person who had dragged her, Daitan.
Unknown: What have you done to the poor girl, Daitan? She looks like a mess thanks to your dragging of her here. I hope you have an explanation to help explain all of this.
Daitan: Sorry, Kiko. This is Hayashi Mai and she's new in town. I wanted to introduce the both of you and hopefully become friends.
Kiko: A reasonable explanation, Daitan. But I'm still not hearing the part as to why you dragged the poor girl over to me.
Daitan: You know that I'm known around the school for being bold, Kiko. And besides, your way to overly cautious about everything.
Kiko: I'm only cautious around strangers and have a crazy sixth sense for them, but I think the emotions you're looking for are concern and worry.
Mai: It's all alright! As you know, I'm Hayashi Mai. May I ask what your name is by chance?
Kiko: I'm Mikami Kiko. Nice to meet you, Hayashi. I take it that you and Daitan have gotten to know each other pretty well.
Mai: Don't you know it.
Kiko: Say, care to help me with a new routine you two? I've been needing some help with this one part I can't get right.
Girls: Sure!

Miki, having suffered two failures on the same day, is now kneeling at her boss and is shaken to the core wondering about what'll happen to her next.
Unknown: Why are you kneeling before me when you know full well about your losses?
Miki: I admit that my recent failures have been less than . . . pleasant. All I ask is that you give me another chance.
