Mai and Misumi Understand!

Heading to school the next day with Joey was something else because Mai always went to school with Mirai since she started. When in class, Mai did some warm-ups and made sure to keep her distance with Misumi.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn't hear the teacher call the class to attention and didn't get up with everyone else. Noticing this, the teacher got the girls attention and gave her the day off. Mai got up in silence and left the school to see if Daitan was at her Hip Hop class for the duration of the day.

When there, she couldn't find Daitan so she assumed she was at school as per usual. As she was leaving, someone caught her attention.

Mai: Satoshi, hey.

Satoshi: Hey, Mai. Are you looking for my sister?

Mai: I was, but I guess she's at school like usual.

Satoshi: She'll be here as soon as school lets out, so you're more than welcome to stay.

Mai: Thanks, Satoshi.

(Op: Let's Dance On)

Baton: Really? 

M Copy: Uh, yeah.

Baton: Great work, keep it up.

M Copy: Thank you.

Baton: Go down to earth to see if you can do it again.

M Copy: Right away, sir.

While trying to cheer the girl up over yesterday's defeat, they ran out of ideas to do with her. She was defeated and couldn't seem to even smile. 

Hana: Come on, Mai. At least do something with one of us!

Daitan: Yeah! How about doing our Hip Hop routine again? What do you say?

Mai: I only promise to try.

Mirai: Yay!

Daitan: Do you want to join, Mirai?

Mirai: Sure! I've always wanted to try Hip Hop.

Daitan: That's the spirit!

(Eyecatch 1: Mai, Daitan, Kiko, Hana and Mirai are playing a game of tag, when their pixies trip them up that causes them to dog-pile on Mai. All five of the girls lay side by side on a mound of grass and the pixies are by their heads, with the logo beneath them.)

(Eyecatch2: Cure Ballet, Cure Hip Hop, Cure Cheerleader, Cure Flamenco and Cure Luau each dance toward the centre of their dance space and head-butt each other. Misumi gathers the all of the girls for a photo, with Cure Ballet being front and centre.)

Deciding on where to launch her next attack, Mai's copy found the perfect spot. The spot was in the middle of town square and she was sure they were to come out for this. So many people to save, they will just have to come.

While working on the routine with everyone, Mai started to feel happier and almost forgot about yesterdays events. I said almost. When the music from the speakers faded, the loud crashes and bangs from somewhere close to town square or in it, to which they were close by. The girls left for town square and when they arrived, the place was in chaos.

Mai: What in the mighty stars above s going on?!

Hana: Never mind that, let's get people out of here!

Girls: Right!

Once everyone was in a safe enough distance, the girls ran back to town square to deal with the robot.

Mai: Precure!

Daitan: Precure!

Kiko: Precure!

Hana: Precure!

Mirai: Precure!

Together: Let me Dance!

Clipping the belts around their waists, the girls each use their skills and energy to create the outfits. Mai waved her hands over the belt, Daitan slams two balls of energy together, Kiko creates her outfit, while Hana and Mirai materialize their outfits.

Two toned hair for the now transformed Mai, identical twin light blue ponytails for Daitan, a long yellow side ponytail for Kiko, a voluminous split red ponytail for Hana, and a split green ponytail for Mirai.

Ballet: With a gentle dance that makes the world calm, I'll show you how I choose to dance. Cure Ballet!

Hip Hop: With a dance that's calm and makes the world get up on their feet, I'll show you a fabulous dance in time. Cure Hip Hop!

Cheerleader: With a dance that brings happiness and makes the world have a smile, I'll show you a great time. Cure Cheerleader!

Flamenco: With a dance that brings us to passion and makes the world fell fiery, I'll show you how to dance fast. Cure Flamenco!

Luau: With a dance whose history originated from Hawaii, I'll show you how my dance is perfection. Cure Luau!

Group: Dances from around the world! Let's continue dancing, Dance Precure!

Jumping straight into battle, the girls got the robot on its back. They then pull out each of their individual attacks.

Ballet: Healing Pirouette!

Hip Hop: The Cabbage Patch Butterfly!

Cheerleader: Screams of the Crowd!

Flamenco: Smoke of the Flames!

Luau: Surfing Mermaid!

The robot was weakened and Luau called to the girls to do their finisher.

Group: Our love will flow through you to the end of time. Precure! Dancing Synchro!

The robot was swiftly defeated by the girls and Mai's copy left earth without saying a word. The energy within the robot floated for a while before returning to its owner and the girls received a gem each. Once the gems were in their belts and they had de-transformed, a group high-five was shared between the four girls and their pixies.

After the week and chatting with their teacher, Mai and Misumi were back in their original homes and both girls started to understand the others home life. 

Mai: This week was tough.

Lily: I'm surprised you made it through without bursting into anger.

Mai: That should be an accomplishment.

Lily: Want to have something to eat?

Mai: I feel like making pancakes, do you want some?

Lily: Okay!
