While Hana, Mai and Mirai were trying to calm down their two friends from arguing, they couldn't seem to get through to them.

Daitan: You know what, I don't want to be friends anymore.

Mai: Isn't that a bit drastic?

Kiko: Your right.

Together: It's over!

Stunned, the other three stood where they were and watched the two walk off. The two stopped and looked at their friends.

Daitan: Mai, come.

Hana: Hana, I want to be my one and only friend. Can you come with me please?

M + H: Coming!

The two left with them and Mirai decided to follow Mai in the hopes of getting an explanation from the girl. Mai knew Daitan wouldn't want Mirai to tag along since she only asked for her, so she took out a writing book and a pen to write Hana a message.

Mai: Take these to Hana and ask her to read the message inside. Once she has a response written down, come back to me with them.

Mirai: Why are you doing this?

Mai: Just as a safety precaution in case things go south. You do have our numbers yeah?

Mirai: Yeah, why?

Mai: Good, now text Hana to see where she is and go to her to give her the message.

Mirai: Right, I'm on it.

Mai, Hana and Mirai communicate through the book and texts, but can't seem to get the split up friends to communicate with each other. Although trying the very best they can, Mirai was starting to get tired from moving between two groups. So to save up on energy, she would stay with each group for a certain amount of time before running off to the other one.

While staying with Hana and Kiko, she finally got to understand Kiko's reasons for arguing with Daitan.

Kiko: The reason I've been arguing with Daitan a lot lately is all because I've been helping Mother with taking care of my baby brother.

Mirai: How old is he?

Kiko: 19 weeks.

Mirai: How wonderful!

Hana: So you've been stressed because of the extra responsibilities at home.

Kiko: Yeah, I guess so.

Mirai: Have you tried talking to your Mother about this?

Kiko: Each time I try, shes either tired or taking care of Hiroki. I can't seem to find the perfect time to bring it up.

Hana: I'll help you with that, but before we go, can you write a message for Mai about this?

Kiko: What, why?

Mirai: Just read the book from the very beginning.

She read the messages and although wearing a poker face throughout the whole thing, she understood the meaning behind them and wrote what she told Hana and Mirai. Handing the book back to Mirai, the girl was off while she and Hana were going back to her place.
