"Hi Uzerrete."

Hindi ko na nararamdaman iyong 'tugs-tugs" feeling kapag nakikita ko si Liam. I guess na-fall out of crush na ako sa kanya.

"Hello yourself Liam. And oh--"lumagpas ang tingin ko sa balikat niya."Sky!"

Lumapit si Sky sa akin.

"Hi bunso. Kung kakamustahin mo ako heto gwapo pa din."napatawa ako

Siya lang ang tumatawag sa akin ng bunso,anyway,kuya na din naman ang tingin ko sa kanya,sa kanilang lahat. Ako daw kasi ang pinakabunso sa team.

Umangat ang kamay niya para guluhin ang buhok ko.

"No need to touch her."came a cold voice.

Kenjiro looked at Sky with a grim face.

"Whew,possessive eh.."Sky taunt.

I looked at Kenjiro with warn in my eyes for acting like that. Sumimangot lang siya.

"Why are you two here?"

"Reinforcement."Liam answered grinning.

Oh. Tumawag nga pala ako kay boss kanina. After three hours nandito na agad ang dalawang ito. Well,mahaba ang oras na iyon siguro ay hinagilap pa silang dalawa ni boss.

My face were now void of emotion. We face the battle emotionless. Naging seryoso na din ang mukha ni Liam at Sky.

"Will you bloody explain what the fuck is happening?"inis na sabi ni Kenjiro.

"Hindi coincidence ang muntikan ng pagkakasaksak sa'yo sa Nishiki Market. It was planned."ako na ang sumagot sa tanong niya.

"With whom?"

"Someone from Kyoto palace...wants you dead."hindi ko inaalis ang tingin ko sa kanya.

"That's a cruel joke!"shock was written all over his face.

"There's no time for kidding here. Iyong patalim na gagamitin sana na pansaksak sa'yo ay galing sa palasyo. The royal emblem of the palace of Kyoto is clearly engraved on that fucking knife. Maybe the emperor---

"My father won't do that to me!"he furiously cut me off.

"Look man. Lahat ng posibilidad ay tinitingnan dito. We are not accusing anyone until proven guilty."seryosong wika ni Sky.

Napailing-iling si Kenjiro.

Iniisip ko lang...

Magkaibang tao ba ang nagtangka kay Kenjiro sa Japan at ang nagtatangka sa kanya dito sa Pilipinas? Sino ang nagtatangka sa kanya sa Kyoto palace at sino ang kasabwat ni Ramon?

"My father might be in danger for all i know. Someone should guard him."maya-maya ay kalmado ng wika ni Kenjiro. Halata ang pag-aalala sa boses niya.

"We need to wait. Leon's men were overworking."Sky.

Iyon nga ang ginawa namin. Ako ay nakaharap sa laptop,si Liam ay naglalaro ng ML,si Sky prente siyang nakaupo sa may sopa arms spread at nakataas pa ang paa sa maliit na lamesa. Si Kenjiro ay nakaupo sa stool sa malapit na bar counter at sumisimsim ng alak.

Nang tumunog ang cellphone ni Liam. He talks to someone. Sa daloy ng usapan nila ay mukhang hindi maganda ang nangyari.

"Who's that? And what are you two talking about?"impatient kong tanong.

"Its Thor. He is talking about the safety of the emperor Hajiro who had just been poisoned."Liam answered.

"WHAT!? I need to be with chichiue-sama!"

Maging ako ay nagulat at nag-alala para sa ama ni Kenjiro.

"You are not allowed to make any stupid move man. You are our responsibility and mind you we are the rule here."Sky.

"The fuck!"

"Just listen. I know you are worried but we will do everything to make your emperor of a father safe."i try to soothe his worry.

"Besides,nasa Japan si Thor."Thor is fast. After four hours he is already in Japan. "The higher ups instructed boss Leon na magpadala ng tao sa Japan para alamin ang nangyayari doon. Thor will protect the emperor at all cost and all of us know he is capable of that."humayon sa amin ni Sky ang tingin ni Liam.

I know what he is saying. Maybe Thor is playful but he is dangerous.

"There's something more important.."he trailed his voice and i patiently waiting for the next words he will say.

I am feeling strange.

"..the empress Tatra leaves the Kyoto palace before Thor had arrived there. We checked her flight at all the airports but we failed to get in touch. We suspected that she board a private plane."Liam.

"Pch. You know we don't believe in coinsidence here bunso."Sky.

Sky is right. An empress shouldn't leave his emperor in times of this.

"That bitch!"Kenjiro roar.

My attention snap on my laptop. A message pop on Kenjiro's email. An anonymous sender.

"Haul your ass on the fucking hell hole you are bastard. If you won't, say your goodbye to your beloved mother."

And i guess we know where the bitch is.

"Damn you Tatra! I'll bloody kill you!"

I nod at Sky and Liam as if asking for permission. We need to get to Kenjiro's mother for she might,well,she is really in danger.

Sky nod while Liam looks more serious.

"The empress had a fucking affair with a Yakuza."Liam.

Fuck! Were in bloody trouble!
