A/N: Here is some interaction between Irene and Laura as kind reader messaged me saying that I had emphasized a LOT that they were friends and rivals and yet had not had them interacting to show it so here it is.
Laura looked at her dumbfounded, "what do you mean she's back?"
Irene sighed, "I think you're smart enough to understand what I meant."
"Irene." Laura said.
"Laura, I am not sure of what to make of this. Nirvana is alive and--"
"What makes her a threat?" Laura asked. "As much as I remember about Nirvana is that she was kidnapped by her father after he killed her mom." Laura said, "that just makes her a stupid traumatized victim."
Irene laughed audibly as she shook her head, "you're so wrong, Rockefeller."
"Am I? Disprove me then. What is it with Nirvana? And what does that have to do with Kenneth?"
Irene looked up at her, "Laura, Nirvana was captive long enough to develop feelings for her father and be brainwashed."
"So, the girl had Stockholm Syndrome. So?"
"Are you an imbecile or what?" Irene snapped, "can't you see? Kenneth killed Milverton back then and Nirvana was extremely fond of her father! She's looking for revenge now and I heard Kenneth on the phone when I arrived here."
"What was he saying?" Laura asked, worry visible on her eyes.
"I heard him say her name, so it is pretty obvious he was talking to her. As well as I heard him say he would be arriving at 'the house' in half an hour and then he left the hospital."
"Kenneth is a skilled detective, do you really think a young girl is going to kill him?"
"I think that one doesn't need skill to murder someone. It just requires of will." Irene said, "my first murder was when I was underage. I killed Carl and I had no skill back then. He laughed at me so I stopped him laughing, simple as that. She doesn't need any skill to kill." Irene said as if killing was something normal in people.
"Then what do we do?" Laura asked.
"Simple, we go to 'the house'."
"Really? What house?"
"Obviously the house in which Nirvana lived with her mother before the kidnapping." Irene said in an annoyed tone as she pulled her phone out.
"You know where that house is?" Laura asked dumbfounded. How did Irene know so much?
"Of course I know. I was in the CIA, Laura."
"You were an assassin for the CIA. How do you know so much?"
"I hacked into the system before leaving and sent all the information to my phone."
"I know but I decoded your phone before we teamed up."
"That's what you think you did. The only thing you did was burn the hard drive upon triggering the switch I had installed. I had a back up folder with all the data in this phone." Irene said.
Laura glared at Irene. The green eyed woman was way smarter than her. And she had proven it once more.
"Okay. So we arrive at the house and kill Nirvana? That's all?"
"We're not killing Nirvana. We're stopping her. Why does it always has to end in deaths with you?" Irene asked annoyed.
"Because if something bothers me I just get rid of the problem!" Laura snapped once they were inside Irene's car.
"How professional." Irene teased. "Maybe I should have done that when you and your stupid colleagues were pursuing me."
"They're still pursuing you."
"Well they are very idiotic because I've been walking very lately around the streets and no one has noticed." Irene mocked.
"Who are you calling?" Laura asked as she watched Irene dial a number on her phone.
"You'll see," she said quietly. "Hello?"
Laura listened quietly.
"I need extra surveillance on the Milverton's home." Irene commanded, "yes, there will be action today." Irene continued, "okay, thanks."
"Who was that?"
"Botticelli."
"What?"
"Dont tell me you did not know she was my agent and bodyguard."
Laura stayed silent.
"Right, I had forgotten your deductive skills had shattered." Irene mockingly said.
"Irene, I am possibly resisting the fact that I want to punch your jaw so stop the--"
"The what? The teasing?" Irene smiled brightly.
Laura glared, "so, all this time Botticelli has been your spy?"
"That's what I just said and I would rather call it agent and not spy if you don't mind." Irene said.
"Whatever. So, we arrive at Milverton's house, enter, say 'oh hello, Nrvana! Can you please stop and let us all go?' and the end?"
Irene glared. Seriously? Was Laura this stupid? "Laura," Irene began, "I think you know well what I meant by stopping her, don't you?"
"You said we were not going to kill her."
"Oh, we are not killing her." Irene said with a smirk as she loaded her gun.
Laura looked at her, visbly confused.
"I'm killing her."
