Aero's POV

We sprint out of the coffee shop and run down the three blocks we still had left.

Peter runs about eight feet in front of us.

"What the hell, Parker?! How are you so fast?!" I shout breathlessly.

"I dunno. Practice?" He says, not even breaking a sweat.

"Since when does he run?" I whisper to Hunter, who runs next to me.

She just shrugs.

When we get to school, Peter an I bid Hunter farewell until lunch and run to our lockers. Our lockers are pretty close to our Geometry class, so that's good.

When we get to the lockers, I slip on my shoelace of my boot, hit the locker and fall on my butt.

Peter starts laughing, but glare at him and peel myself off the ground.

"Shut up, Parker."

"That-That was.....hilarious!"

"You're an ass, you know that?" I ask, pushing him a little.

"Your welcome."

I roll my eyes and we head off to class.

"Ms. Derman and Mr. Parker! So nice of you to join us!" Our teacher, Mr. Harrington, says.

"Sorry. We got....distracted." I say.

Mr. Harrington motions at the coffees in our hands.

"I see. Take a seat. Oh, and that's one warning, you two, one more and that's detention." He says.

"We're sorry, it won't happen again, promise." Peter says as we take our seats.

Peter sits behind me.

"Don't make promises you can't keep, Peter."

He nods, but his words don't match.

"But those are the best kinds." He whispers to me.

I smirk and blow air out my nose.

After about 30 minutes, I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I crain my neck to see Peter handing me a peice of notebook paper.

I open it and it reads: wanna come over and study today?

I was about to answer with yes, when I remembered the text from Tony Stark.

Sorry, busy.

And I handed it back to him with an apologetic smile.

He seemed upset, but managed to nod and smile.

When class is over, we walk out and see Hunter walking out of her class, tears in her eyes.

"Pete." I say, slightly slapping his chest with the back of my hand to get his attention.

I nod in Hunter's direction and his shoulders slump.

We run over to her.

"Hunter, what happened?" I ask, putting a hand on her shoulder. She jumped back in a scream.

"Hey, hey, calm down! It's just us!", Peter said. Hunter let the tears fall down and ran into the arms of her brother and I.

"Why are your hair wet? And why did you change your clothes?" I asked.

"They... They dumped water on me! And the teacher was so rude! And, and-", she couldn't reply, crying into their shoulders. I was glaring at anyone who was looking weird at us.
