Aero's POV

I sat on the bus next to Hunter, with Peter in the seat next to us.

"You know what? I'm gonna move seats. See ya," Hunter says.

I let out a defeated sigh and slump against the seat and look out the window. When the bus stopped I stood and purposefully bumped Peter's shoulder and followed Hunter out of the bus.

"Aero! Aero, wait!" I feel a hand grab my arm once I'm on the sidewalk.

"What do you want Parker?" I ask, turning to face him.

"I want to apologize. That was a dick move. I shouldn't have treated you like that. I'm sorry." He says.

"Look, I know you're sorry, and I accept your apology, but I need space. That- whatever it was in there- made me feel like crap. I don't need this right now." And I walk away, leaving him on the sidewalk.

I know he's standing there staring at me as I walk away, contemplating whether to go after me or not. That's just who he is. But he kinda has to follow considering we live in the same building. I take off into a run and go to my apartment. I close the door and lock it behind me, slamming my back into the door and sliding to the floor. I quietly cried. I've been keeping secrets from my best friend, and its eating away at my heart, consuming me with guilt. Truth is, I've had a crush on my best friend since eighth grade.

I didn't know what to do. I'm sitting here, crying over a boy who probably sees me of more of a sister than girlfriend material. I'll call Hunter, she always has good advice.

"Hello?" Hunter says from the other end.

"H-Hunter?" I reply, tripping over my words because of the tears.

"Ah, shit, are you alright?", she asked, worry in her voice.

"I-it's Peter. He's b-being an a-ass!" I cry into the phone.

"Tell me."

"He-he told me to stop a-acting like a hero, then-then he had-had the nerve to te-tell me he was sorry! What the hell do I do?!"

"Well, first of all, calm down. You need to breath. I don't wan't you to have an other panic attack, ok? Breath with me," We breathed in sync for a few minutes and had calmed down a bit.

"What do I do, Hunter?"

No one knew about my crush on Peter, not even Hunter. But I'm sure she is about to find out.

"What... What do you mean?", Hunter asked, frowning.

"I-I-" I sniff, feeling my heart pound the walls of my chest.

"Hey, look, if you don't want to tell me it's okay-"

"No, you should know. You're my best friend. What would you say if I liked your brother?" I ask.

"I-I'm sorry what?", she asked.

"I'm sorry! Its ridiculous!"

"No, that's-", she then burst out laughing.

"Why are you laughing!? This is serious!" I shout.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!", but she wasn't able to stop, "it's just-", she couldn't finish her phrase, laughing to hard.

"Speak Hunter! Is there something I don't know?"

"There is something Peter don't know! Ok, you don't know that too, but seriously! You guys are hilarious!"

"I don't understand," I say, my voice small.

"Of course you don't! You should really go see him! Oooooooor... You could go on patrol fiiiiirst... And then talk to him!"

"Hunter, I'm not talking to him! Just tell me what's going on!"

"No way! You guys are gonna talk together like grown up people! I am no messager!", she responded.

"Hunter, we're fifteen, not adults. And since when have you not been the messenger?"

"Since never, but here me out! This is important! I cannot do this one I'm sorry! Now, I'm gonna hang up and you will go talk to my brother like the good girl you are!", Hunter said.

"NO-" But Hunter had already pressed the end call button.

"Crap!" I shout to the empty apartment.
