Aero's POV
The next day

I sit in the lobby, bouncing my knee in stress as I wait for Hunter and Peter to come down.

What if he ignores me?

What if he completely forgets that it ever happened?

How do I tell him i like him?

"Earth to Aero!"

I look up and Hunter stands there, alone.

"Sorry, thinking." I say.

"Yeah, I can see that! Come on! We need to go!", she say back.

We stand and start to walk out, but I stop.

"Wait, wheres Peter?" I ask.

"He doesn't feel really good, so he's staying home all day!"

"Since when does he get sick?" I ask, remembering that Peter hasn't gotten sick since he was fourteen. She only shrugged.

"Hunter, theres something your not telling me!" I say, "I'm not going to be affected if I stay right here! I'm suspended for a week, but you're not, so if I make you stay here, you'll get in trouble. So tell me!"

"I can literally call sick for the week, so I don't care."

"Do you really want May to know that you're not actually sick? 'Cause I can do that for you." I say, crossing my arms.

"I ain't telling you anything!"

"Just tell me! I spilled my guts to last night! And don't say I only did it because I was irrational, because I wasn't!"

"It kinda was..."

"No, shush! Please, Hunter, I need to know!" I say, "We don't keep secrets from each other," she sighed.

"He got hurt."

"What," My voice is small as I try to register what my friend just said.

"It's... It's nothing to bad. He was walking to clear is head yesterday and he met an asshole that hurt him. But he's fine now! He just needs to rest a bit."

"I-I have to see him," I say, walking away, but Hunter grabs my wrist.

"Nan, han. Look, I know you care about him, but he has to rest. And plus, he's probably sleeping now, so you wouldn't have a response. You can see him later, ok?", she say, her face really serious.

"Hunter," I start, but there's a crashing noise outside, "What the hell?!"

"What was that?!"

We run out, and Spider-man is wrestling a man in rhinoceros armor.

"Who is that?!" I shout over the noise of screeching tires and terrified civilians. I look at my side to see Hunter, white as a sheet.

"Hunter? What's wrong?" She didn't answer, "Hunter!"

She shakes her head in fear.

"C'mon, Hunter, you gotta talk to me!"

"We... We need Blaze... NOW!"

"Right! Right! Okay, stay here! Don't move! Wait- no! Go back to your apartment and set up comms and stuff!" I panic. The two of us run back inside and prepare our things.

I run to my apartment and go to my room. I grab one of my dad's golf clubs that I had taken when I became Blaze, and pushed the attack that was on the ceiling open. My suit falls out and into my hands. The soft material hits my fingers and I squeeze it.
