Hunter Third POV

Going down the stairs, Hunter though of the night before.

Flashback

While doing her homework, Hunter heard a "BANG". Her head suddenly rose with a panic look on her face. She took the first thing she found: a ruler, and walked slowly where the sound was heard. The view shocked her. Her brother was in his Spider-Man suit without his mask, and blood was everywhere. Her eyes opened in horror. She dropped the ruler and quickly ran to Peter. His head shot up to her and looked devastated.

"Shit. Why are you still up? You're supposed to be sleeping!", he said, panicked.

"Why are you bleeding? You're supposed to be careful!", she replied, helping him to walk to the bathroom.

"Point taken," he said, wincing. She took the first aid kit and took what she needed. While she was treating him, the two of them where silent.

"So... You know...," he started.

"I knew way before now," she replied, concentrated.

"Really? And you didn't say anything?", he asked, surprised.

"If you want to play the super-hero, who am I to stop you?", she said, looking at him in the eyes.

End of flashback

It was a lot of stress, but at least Peter would come to her if something happened.

Once in the lobby, she saw her friend, bouncing her knee, looking stressed. She waved in her face but nothing happened.

"Earth to Aero!"

She suddenly look up at her.

"Sorry, thinking," she said.

"Yeah, I can see that! Come on! We need to go!", she said back.

The two of them started to walk away, but Aero stopped unexpectedly.

"Wait, wheres Peter?", she asked.

"He doesn't feel really good, so he's staying home all day!", she responded, lying.

"Since when does he get sick?", she asked again. It's true that Peter hadn't been sick a long time ago. Hunter only shrugged, not able to find an excuse.

"Hunter, theres something your not telling me!", Aero started, "I'm not going to be affected if I stay right here! I'm suspended for a week, but you're not, so if I make you stay here, you'll get in trouble. So tell me!"

"I can literally call sick for the week, so I don't care."

"Do you really want May to know that you're not actually sick? 'Cause I can do that for you," she replied, crossing her arms.

"I ain't telling you anything!"

"Just tell me! I spilled my guts to last night! And don't say I only did it because I was irrational, because I wasn't!"

"It kinda was..."

"No, shush! Please, Hunter, I need to know!", she said. "We don't keep secrets from each other," and Hunter sighed.

"He got hurt."

"What," her voice really small, as she tried to register what her friend said.

"It's... It's nothing to bad. He was walking to clear is head yesterday and he met an asshole that hurt him. But he's fine now! He just needs to rest a bit," she half-lied.
