Bayleigh had been playing on the playground when she fell and hurt her arm. Since it was Chloe's custody week, she got the call from the school. When she got there and realized Bayleigh's arm may be broken, she called G.

"Yea?" He answered, after letting it ring three times.

"Bayleigh fell and they think her arm may be broken. I'm headed to take her to this new care clinic if you wanna meet me there?"

"I'm on my way.." he said with no hesitation and hung up. G closed out of a file on his computer and logged off, making sure no one else could have access to it. He looked over at his partner Miya Sanders, who was on a call. He made a mental note to text her and tell her on the way there.

"Yo G, where ya going?" His partner, Sanders asked, finally ending her call. She stood up, thinking it was go time on a case.

"Bayleigh fell at school. They think her arm is broken. Headed to the Care Clinic. Cover for me?"

"Of course. Keep me posted."

G nodded as he jogged out of the precinct and to his unmarked car. He hopped in and drove off, headed to the address that Chloe. It wasn't until he arrived that he realized it was Winter's Clinic.

Washington's Care Clinic

G said a silent prayer to himself, knowing that things could go all the way south even the wrong things are said. Six years without any communication between them two or between Winter and himself, tensions are bound to be high.

He hopped out, going inside. He stopped at the desk, gently tapping on the glass. The woman behind the glass, who was Anna, looked up from her computer and smiled. She slid the frame open, so that she could talk to him.

"Yes, can I help you?" Anna asked, all while trying to remember where she knows his face from. She didn't want to stare so she would look at her paperwork every few second without being rude.

"Uh, yes. I'm G- I mean Gary Lucas. My daughters mom said that they were here with my daughter."

G Lucas?! That's it! she exclaimed in her head, not showing any emotion on the outside. She knew that he looked familiar and now she knows why. It was Winter's bestfriend !! Well ex-bestfriend/boyfriend/fiancée. It was just too much to process.

"What's your daughter's name?"

"Bayleigh.. B A Y L E I G H. Lucas. L U C A S."

Anna nodded as she pulled the file up on the computer. "She's in room four. Come around to this door and I'll walk you back...." G thanked her as he followed her back to the rooms. She knocked lightly on the door and opened it, revealing Chloe sitting in the chair up against the wall on the phone and Bayleigh sitting on the examination table. When she saw G, her face lit up.

"Daaaddddiiiieeeee!" She exclaimed, reaching for him with her non injured arm. G hugged her tightly, kissing her on the top of her head. "How's daddy's baby? You okay?"

She nodded, holding up her arm with her other hand. "I was doing a backflip off the monkey bars and landed wrong. I'm sorry Daddy."

"No need to be sorry babygirl. You're okay. You just play rough like a boy," G joked, causing Bayleigh to laugh louder than usual. Chloe looked at them both, snapping her fingers to get G, who hadn't paid her any mind, attention.
