"Who's next?" I asked as I handed Anna a manila folder to store in its appropriate space. It was a busy day with the walk ins on top of my scheduled patients. The word of mouth response really sent business into overdrive. I had to hire another receptionist since Anna passed her exam. She was officially a M.A. and as promised, working under me.

"Patient in room one is here for a follow up, but I can handle that. Bayleigh is in room three, time to get her cast removed." She handed me the folder as we walked towards the rooms.

I stopped at examine room three and paused. Just breathe. I took a deep breath and plastered a smile on my face before entering the room.

Bayleigh looked up, and smiled seeing my face. I exhaled, seeing that Chloe was not here. G was in the corner on the phone. He quickly ended the call when he saw me.

"Hey you two."

"Hey Ms. Winter!"

"How are we today?" I asked and G sighed heavily, shaking his head. "Tired. Somebody was so anxious last night that they didn't want to go to bed."

I chuckled, putting my tablet down. "You're ready to get this thing off of you?"

She quickly nodded, and held her arm out. I examined it, double checking the area where her skin was exposed before grabbing the saw cast.

"No you'll feel the vibration and it'll be kinda loud but it's harmless."

She nodded her head and I turned the saw on. I carefully cut through the thick molding, being sure not to go too deep. G and Bayleigh both looked on intensely, both biting their bottom lip. I think Bayleigh was more relaxed than G though.

"All done," I sighed, setting the saw aside. I pulled it a part a bit and Bayleigh wiggled her arm loose. She examined it for herself, then allowed me to do it.
