staying?

i wake to my mom screaming at the doctor

"what do you mean she needs to stay till she finishes all the chemo" my mom screams at the doctor

"the chemo this week maam" the doctor says

"good she wont be staying here a moment longer than that" she says and comes in my room laying a bag from my favorite craft store on the bed

"hey sweetit I brought the stuff to make the tutus and aprons for your class do we need to make them for him to" she asks pointing at Raymond

"hell yes" I say smiling thinking of the kindergarden class ill have soon

"your gonna go down to see the eye doctor here today so we can update your glasses before school starts" my mom says and I nod

"what time" Raymond asks

"at 1 ill take her so you can have your phone meeting" my mom says and he nods

"hand me the bag I wanna see what you brought me" I say smiling she hands me the bag and I pull out things that I needed for my different aprons for learning I already have most of them done and I made copies for my teaching assistant so my mom brought me the stuff to finish my color collection and do a regular one for me and Raymond

I pull them out of the bag but decide I need a shower first

"mom can you go get the nurse I wanna shower so I need to detatch" I say laughing a little

"of curse baby" my mom says and leaves the room going to get the nuse I get out my favorite loose tanktop that says teacher hair don't care and some pj shorts that cover everything and unhook my canaula and the nurse comes in and unhooks my iv

"do you need help showering sweetie" the nurse asks

"no maam but do we need to change the dressings before I get in or after" I ask

"we will change them after hit the call button after your out sweetie" she says and I nod standing grabbing my clothes along with a sports bra and panties and socks and go to the attached bathroom and start the shower shutting the door I quickly shower washing my hair then putting it up in a bun after towel drying it and go sit on the bed putting the canual back in and paging the nurse she comes and reattatches me as I plan out the aprons I choose to use the crayons and black lettering for the names on the front and choose fun patches and things to put on them soon im done with both an being taken in a wheelchair to the optometrist in the hospital

soon were done and my new glasses are ordered I decide to start editing the vlog of the hospital and eventually end up napping im soon awoken my Raymond and my colleges principle

"hey dr reed whats up" I ask

"well miss kat since you displayed such exilant grades and have already finished your schooling tests and passed everything we have decided to let you graduate early so here is your cap your mother has your gown and here is your diploma" dr rees says and I see my parents huddled in the corner filming on my camera and I tear up

"really oh my gsh thank you so much" I say and start to cry he helps me stand and get a picture with him and my diploma and then he leaves

my parents congradulate me and say they have a supprise when I come home tomorrow and I smile and they leave taking me and raymonds stuff with them only leaving us with essentials since we leave tomorrow

Raymond lays with me and holds me as I cry its a bittersweet cry but I cry till I fall asleep that night but im awoken with a foul taste in my mouth I see the nurse is cleaning my port and putting in the chemo
