Monday mornings and movie shoots

I wake up to my phone going off it's Monday morning ugh I get up and look at my phone alwxander highschool huh my old school is calling I wonder why
Stan: hello is miss Kat available
K: this is her speaking and who is this
Stan: it's mr Stanley from Alexander highschool
K: oh good morning mr Stanley how are you
Stan: I'm great how are you
K: I'm allright but may I ask why your calling at 5 am
Stan: of course the whole school especially the seniors were wondering if you would come support our football game  and lead the cheerleaders
K: I'd love to when
Stan: this Friday night if possible it's homecoming
K: Aw is love to come let me check my schedule really quick
Stan: of course
K: this Friday let's see what time does the game start
Stan: it starts at 7 pm but you know everyone starts coming at 4 and 5 pm
K: of course I think I can make it if I come straight from the school I teach at around 4 how does that sound oh can I bring sugar
Stan: of course and we advise bringing your nurse too
K: of course well mr Stanley I will see you Friday wait can I ask what seniors wanted me to come
Stan: of course it was your sophomore senior buddy Elle and her boyfriend Noah she's in line for homecoming queen and is a cheerleader and he's caption of the football team
Kat: aw that's great well see you Friday
We say good bye an I write it in on the callender getting ready for school I shower and get dressed putting on light makeup and the light blue wig I have that matches the light blue shirt I'm wearing and my light blue converse I make breakfast for Lisa and Raymond as they get up I make my morning drink and make Raymond sugar and I lunch then pack them up and have everything ready to go Raymond comes out followed by Lisa and we eat the waffles I made then Raymond sugar and I head to school
"So what are we teaching today" he asks as we drive to school
" we're reviewing the color red and we're gonna talk about diffrent animals we will see at the zoo and aquarium and we have a few worksheets on adding" I say nodding
"Do we have a power point for the animals" he asks
"Yes I had lisa make it last night and we're gonna have them draw the animal they are most excited to see and write about it" I say and he nods we arrive at school and we go to our room and set up for the day I print the lined pictures and start making the name tags for tomorrow and writing out the groups so I can color code them the chaperones are

And ally's dad speaking of him he's gonna supprise her after lunch and she's getting checked out
The kids file in and I say good morning I let Raymond lead today as I get everything ready for tomorrow
"Miss kat what's your favorite animal" Raymond asks
"Well mr Raymond we will see it tomorrow my favorite animal is a panda" I say smiling and looking at the kids and Raymond
"Can you draw one for us miss kat" Raymond asks
"Of course but then I have to finish organizing for tomorrow" I say smiling I grab a black marker and go to the bored to draw the animal I draw a panda and color if I'm with blue eyes then I write 3 sentences over it
I Like pandas because they are care free and happy. Pandas eat bamboo. Pandas are miss kats favorite animal.
"Thank you miss kat" Raymond says smiling as I add a little bamboo stick by the panda the kids work quietly as I print the emergency numbers and allergies of the kids and put them in the binder then I go back to making groups

I smile as I choose all the kids wisely for each group then I tie the coordinating string to their name tag to make it a necklace for fhem and add a colored sticker in the top right corner of each I bag each grouping up in ziplock baggies and make the clipboards for tomorrow then put the baggies on the clip boreds and I walk around seeing what everyone is doing finishing their drawings and sentences good good after they finish we review red then it's time for lunch we get the kids lined up and we HEad to the lunch room and i sit with the teachers give sugar her lunch as Raymond sets up ours an we talk with the teachers about tomorrow
"Thank you for sending me that PowerPoint Miss kat" miss lily says
"Oh no problem honestly I had fun making it" I say shruging
"What PowerPoint" miss Olivia asks
"The one she sent us all with all the animals in the zoo and aquarium to get the kids excited to learn about them tomorrow" miss Harley says
"Oh that one my kids loved it they really liked the giraffes" Miss Olivia says
"Are we still in uniforms tomorrow" Raymond asks
"No were supposed to wear white and pink shirts and blue jeans a plane shirt though" I say
"Yeah an my class is wearing blue jeans and yellow and blue shirts" miss lily says
"I'm jeans and green and orange shirts" miss Harley says
"I'm purple and red shirts and jeans" miss Olivia says we laugh at the wierd combinations miss Jenny came up with
"Are the kids allowed to bring souviner money" Miss Lilly asks
"Yes but the parent must hand it to you and you have to write the kids name on the envelope and you keep it till gift shop time" miss Olivia says I nod as we talk about how excited we are for tomorrow
"Where are we eating lunch" miss Harley asks
"The zoo is providing us with lunch and the aquarium is providing us with snacks" Miss lily says
"Tomorrow is gonna be a lot of walking will you be okay miss kat" Harley asks me
"If she gets tired I'll give her a piggy back ride like when we were kids" Raymond says laughing
"I don't know if that's safe then you dropped me in the grass a lot and once on concrete" I say
"That was cause you jumped on me silently" he says
"What was I supposed to do I had my tonsils taken out" I say shrugging
"When was this" miss lily asks confused
"Two years ago" I say laughing slightly
"Did you make your kids badges yet" miss lily asks
"Yes I just finished them and I color coordinated them with their groups" I say smiling lightly and she nods
"What time are the busses coming tomorrow" I ask
"They will be here at 8:30 at 8:35 we load the kids on we each get our own bus I think" miss Olivia says
I nod thinking
"How far is the zoo and aquarium" miss lily asks
"An hour with traffic but we are going from 9 am till 12:30 at the zoo and from 12:45 till 4:45 at the aquarium and we will be back here by 5:45 at the latest" miss Harley says and I nod
"My room is about to be filled with tears ally a little girl in my class her father is deployed and hes gonna come supprise her after lunch then we're gonna talk about the feild trip since he's a chaperone an then she's getting checked out" I say
"Aww that's so sweet catch it on video for me" lily says and I nod we pack up and get the kids ready we head back to our classroom and I get a call in the room
K: miss kats room
J: ally's parents are here would you like me to bring them down do they need visitors passes
K: yes miss Jenny they do I need to talk to them about the feild trip tomorrow and bring them down please we're just learning animals
J: okay he has a service dog as well
K: oh that's great see you in a second I grab a Marker and sit at the front and wink at Raymond who sets up a camera to catch it all and we talk about animals and what we expect to see tomorrow when there's a knock at the door I open the door and miss Jenny comes in
"Miss kat it appears we have 3 visitors for your room" she says and I make sure sugar is sitting beside me
"Well please bring them in miss Jenny " I say smiling allready knowing and she ushers in ally's dad mom and his service dog who I see has a vest and his  name is rex
I look over at ally who has her nose in a book not paying attention and I giggle
"Miss ally can you set down you book for a second" I say and she looks up and says yes miss but then gasps and runs over screaming daddy
I start to cry a little and Raymond hands me a tissue and I smile then her dad lets her go and she shouts rexy and hugs the dog who licks her face
" well miss ally how about you and your daddy and mommy and Rex sit at your table and we can talk about the feild trip then you can leave early with your daddy and mommy okay" I say and she nods tugging her parents over by her seat where Raymond set out 2 adult size chairs and a blanket for rex to lay on he happily lays down and I start talking as miss Jenny leaves saying ally is good to leave whenever and reminding me specials is in 30 minutes
"Okay class so tomorrow we are gonna listen to the announcements then go to the buses and the busses will take us to the zoo first then the aquarium we will be gone all day you don't need your backpack but you will wear blue jeans and a solid white or pink shirt okay you will be divided in groups with a chaperone and we will each go on a search for diffrent animals and we will take photos at diffrent animal exhibits and we have to write down one fact we learned there but the chaperones will write down the fact okay that way we know we saw all the animals" I say smiling there's a knock on the door and I see it's the pe teacher to collect them for pe
"Okay now let's line up for pe your all gonna go with miss lacy to the gym" the kids stand and line up peacefully except ally and her parents and they leave
"Miss kat I'm Sargent Max thank you for protecting my little girl" he says shaking my hand
"Well Sargent Max it was my pleasure thank you for protecting our country and thank you too Rex" I say bending down letting Rex sniff me
"Of course ma'am so what do I need to know for the feild trip tomorrow" he asks
"Wear blue jeans and a pink or white solid shirt you will be in charge of 4 kids one is your daughter your more than welcome to bring Rex sugar here will be tagging along we're gonna do a scavenger hunt for diffrent animals " I say showing him the paper and the badges explaining them quickly and saying everything is being provided
"If any kids get souviner money the school rules say it has to be brought to me or mr Raymond first thing that morning we will put it in an envelope with the kids name on it and ammount and seal the envelope and we will keep it in a locked baggie until we get to the gift shops at  either location" I says and he nods
"How has my little girl been in class I know she likes to read a lot" he asks concerned
"Well me and her struck a deal she does all her class work and then she can read or help other students but once a week she does a challenging project that one of the older kids teachers give me so she stays challenged and doesn't get bored she seems to enjoy it so far and she allready has some friends" I say smiling
"That's great to hear thank you" he says I nod as Raymond writes notes in ally's agenda they then leave and we do the rest of the agendas then we pass them back out and I eat a snack waiting on the kids to get back
"Can we wear matching pink shirts tomorrow" Raymond asks
"Sure" I smile at him the kids come back and we finish the rest of the day with laughs and smiles about tomorrow the parents pick up the kids and I remind them of the white and pink shirts and blue jeans and hand them a paper reminding them as soon as the kids are all gone Raymond sugar and I leave for the studio to staff shooting we arrive after about 10 minutes seeing the first house isn't far from school today is shooting in truvys bueaty shop for the wedding scene and the Dolly Parton is playing with my hair well my wig but still in this one Shelby has light pink hair and miss dolly is playing in my hair as we chat through our lines shooting it a few times
"My reception my reception pink as far as the eye can see dancing and my gorgeous wedding cake and the grooms cake hidden in the car port" I say smiling as the woman playing my mom laughs
"Shelby and I agree on one thing the grooms cake it's simply awe full Jackson's aunt makes cakes she made a armedilla cake with grey icing I can't even begin to think of how you make grey icing" she says
"And it's red velvet pepole are gonna be hacking into this poor cake thinking the animal is bleeding to death" I say
"An armadillo you gotta be joking me" truly said
" I wish but Jackson's family they are really something" the lady that plays my momma says
"They are Just our doorsy momma" I say smiling
"They are more than our doorsy they either marry it shoot it or eat it" she says laughing
"See outdoorsy" I say smiling
We continue the scene to where Shelby has a diabetic attack and they cut it there
"Kat could we try the diabetic ring again and just Tuu to be more out of it like your not really there okay" the director says and I nod and we reset from truvys line I sink into myself and start blinking then Zone und out and turtle my head a bit and truvy says something to me and I slap her head away and start trying to resist they rush me some juice and the woman who plays my momma says
"It's no wonder with all this running around an wedding nonsense you for too much insulin in your blood sweetie here let's get this juice in you then a piece of hard candy you'll be okay" she says and we finish the scene and the director calls cut
"That was great Kat i think That was a Perfect Shot now we're gonna move a bit to the winter scene where you come to the salon for a trim and to catch up on what it's like being a wife" he says this is one of the new scenes we shoot it a few diffrent ways and then a few hours later we wrap for the day and I decide to check on the ice cream shop before rolling in for the night so we stop there on the way home I check in with everyone then as I go to leave miss Dolly Parton walks in
"Oh hi miss kat" she says
"Oh hey miss Parton what are ya doing here" I ask
"Getting some ice cream for me and my grandson" she says I see the boy she's holding hands with
"Well hi billy" I say waving to him
"How do you know my grandson" she asks
"He's in my class that I teach" I say smiling
"Oh your his teacher well I hope he's good at school" she says
"Oh he's great so have you been here before" I ask
"Not in a Long time got any suggestions for us" she asks
"Well I like the chocolate fudge cookie dough brownie but all the flavors are great here I should know it's my place" I say smiling
"That Sounds like a darn good ice cream I think I'll try that" she says and smiles at me I say goodbye to her and she says she will see me this weekend
I head back to the houses wehere we eat leftover And I mostly eat cake then I set out our matching outfits for tomorrow and style my wig then we head to bed and I curl up In Raymonds Arms tk wait for morning to come
