Iris knew Charles more than she let on, and he didn't tell her what they where doing. Aalyiah had wanted to escape her almost royal- like life style for what ever reason, and she seemed to gravitate towards the girls, and avoided Charles, Draco, and the twins as much as humanly possible. Though she wasn't necessarily avoiding anybody else, and she even had a conversation with Xavier during lunch, but she wasn't reaching out to anyone either.
Everything was just strange.
Though his stomach twisted as he remembered that tomorrow they would be in the open fields of Lidia and e would have to face Ryder's rath. It wouldn't be another week until he gets paid, but, in the end it will be worth it.
