Aalyiah was acting weird. She looked almost in physical pain as she ate the last spoonful of porridge and returned to her tent Iris followed soon after. What was going on?

The forest was still, silent if you discounted the clinking of utensil on dish. They ate silently. Everybody was minding their own business as if the rest of them didn't exist. It was unsettling. Finishing his bowl. He went towards his tent and began unpacking.

The he noticed something. They weren't packing. They weren't talking. In fact if the two girls where there at all was something to consider. Were where they?

A horse whinnied in the distance.

What?

A hand clamped over his mouth, "Be quite and we won't hurt you." A deep voice from behind him whispered harshly.

He wanted to scream, to fight. But his entire body seemed immobilized under the man's grasp. Then he heard the sound that he so desperately wanted to cry out come from the fire.

Raquel.
