Jonas came into Delancy's room with a tray "Good morning."
Delancy turned to look, "Good morning."
"When did you wake up?"
"Few minutes ago." Jonas took a cup of coffee from the tray. "Here, how are you now?"
Delancy drank from the cup and took a breath "It's hot, you didn't tell me."
Jonas chuckled, "Didn't you see the steam."

"Shut up." She placed the cup beside her, "I need to find Kelsey and also get the lawyer for my mom."
"Yeah, I called the lawyer already and as for... Kelsey, I haven't done anything yet."
"I'd ask-" Delancy remembered Zak. "Did someone call my phone yesterday?"
"You mean Zak, the hot guy from the store."

Delancy flushed "Yes."
"He called to ask how you were doing, he asked to give the phone to you but you were asleep already."
"Oh, where's my phone?" She took her robe from the stand and wore it.
"Here." Jonas gave her the phone.
Delancy opened the door and walked down the hallways as she dialed Zak. "He's not picking up."
"Maybe you should try it later, what about Nicholas? He came here looking for you, he says he wants to talk."

Delancy stopped and looked at her phone. She looked and walked down the stairs. "Nicholas." She tucked her hair behind her ear. "Is the last person I want to see right now."
"Why don't you want to see me?" Nicholas appeared at the end of the stairs holding a glass of wine.
"Nick." She whispered. "I-"
"I want to talk to you." he looked at Jonas. "Alone."

Jonas smiled mischievously, "I was about to leave anyways. I'll see you at lunch." He kissed her cheeks and bade her goodbye.
"Cie, let's go. We need to talk." Nicholas said sounding serious.
Delancy followed as he led the way to the bar. He pulled out a stool for her. "Sit." She obeyed and sat gently.

"I saw your note, you didn't want to marry me." Delancy breathed in slowly, she realized after a long time, Nick was still that direct guy she had known.
"Yes, it would be wrong if I did, I love someone else."
"I know."
"It happened so... What? How did you know?"
"I was talking to Zak yesterday and-"
"Zak?" Delancy interjected, "You know Zak?" She widened her eyes. "Yes." Nicholas nodded.

"And we talked. He told me everything and Delancy, I would be so glad if you two end up together. It's been so long my friend had been crazy about a girl, even risking his life for her. He really loves you."
Delancy took a glass of wine "What a-"
"I, On the wedding day, I too had my own issues. I was thinking I would say no if the priest asks me because I know you accepted the marriage because of Avery and besides that I love someone already too. I found the one in that three month."

Delancy who had her mouth agape since, closer her mouth and then chuckled softly, "Who's the one."
"It's this beautiful lady I met at Panama City, she is-" Nicholas sighed. "The best and Delancy, Sorry I had cheated on you." he laughed.
Delancy laughed too, "I cheated too and I think I got that from you."

Nicholas smiled "That was then, I'm changed a bit now. Besides, then that girl has a nice backside."
"Jeez, Just shut up." Delancy giggled.
"Anyways, I'll leave now." Nicholas stood up. "And don't lose Zak, he's really the one for you and I ship you two. Zalancy or Delak." He laughed.
Delancy blushed "I'll see you to the door and shut up."

"How is it going?... Okay... Thank you so much, just do everything to get her out of there even if she resists... Okay bye." Delancy ended the call.
"He said he's trying everything but Avery doesn't want to come out." She told Jonas.
"She really regrets it," Jonas said.
"It was a mistake, partly my fault too." Delancy sipped her drink. "How about Kelsey?"

"Yes, I found out about her with the help of France. Right now she stays at the house of Christian Powers." Jonas said.
"Christian Powers? Does she works there?" Delancy asked surprised.
"No," Jonas shook his head. "She's engaged to him."
"What of her mother?"
"Down on the sick bed with cancer. She's been treated in the house."
"Okay, Tomorrow I'm going to Christian's house. And you're coming with me."
"What?"
"It's an order." Delancy winked.
