"I'm sorry I came late", Delancy said as she walked into the office she shares with her best friend, Jonas. But Jonas wasn't inside the office. "Jonas!", She called but no answer. She checked the bathroom, store and every other place she thought he could be but he wasn't around.

She decided to call his phone and it rang, she waited for some seconds before he picked up. "Where the hell are you... Liar, I'm here in the office... Okay!" Then she ended the call and did some paperwork before Jonas came in with a swollen lip.
"Oh my Goodness, Jonas!", She exclaimed.

"What's wrong?", Jonas asked. "Don't think you can fool me", She said and Jonas laughed.
"Well yeah, but this time I trust this guy." She raised an eyebrow at him and said "I hope you're sure cos I don't want any guy break your heart."

"Yes Mum, I'll introduce him to you, he's even a cop", Jonas said. Delancy smiled at him and asked teasingly "is he handsome and hot?"
"Yeah but you can't get a chance with him, he is not straight", Jonas laughed. "You're crazy, I never said I wanted a chance with him", Delancy said. They both laughed and Jonas helped her on the paperwork she was doing. After that they had to go for some supplies.

Jonas Branson has been Delancy's best friend since they were kids. His mother and Avery Wright met in the hospital where they gave birth on the same day. Since then, the two mothers has been friends and as a result, their kids became friends too.

Sixteen years after their birth, Both parents of Jonas died in an air plane crash. Sixteen years old Jonas was very sad, After their death, all the properties left were taken by his family leaving only the house where he stays with his parents for him as he refused to go to an orphanage.

Jonas was very affected by everything that happened, he worked so hard to feed himself by making use of his great love for cooking and also help from the Wrights. With all these, he became one of the state's best chef owning his own restaurant which he also does catering services. When Delancy thought of starting her own wedding planning business, he helped her and became her partner in the business.

Determining his sexuality was a very big part of his life, at a time he thought he was straight, at another he thought he was bi. At the end he realised he actually loves guys which many of his families were against as they thought it would tarnish their image. But having the Wrights beside him was the best thing ever as they supported him no matter what, to him the Wrights are his real family.

"Let's go", Jonas shouted to Delancy who was still packing her stuff. "Shut up, I'm coming", She said and came out of the office.
They were walking towards the garage when Jonas asked "Have you eaten?"
"Yes, I had breakfast with my mother", She replied.
"Oh my dearest Ava, Say hi for me, tell her I miss her so much", he said.
"OK, Let's go"
"Food first"
"I've eaten, food for you."
"Yes Mum". They walked to Jonas's car and he drove to the restaurant, he got food and ate in the car. They started going to the stores after Jonas finished eating.

Jonas asked "Any guy you got hots for?" Delancy laughed and said "No one since he died,you know. Avery always complains of any guy I bring always telling me my father would not like it."
He parked the car and faced her. "Delancy, isn't it enough, your dad died for more than six years now and you're still grieving. You don't want to get involved with anyone cos of your mother, Why don't you ignore her."
Delancy looked at him and said "I wish I could, my mom always get sad anytime I try to argue with her, it's my fault she lost her husband."
"Delancy-"
"It's okay", She interjected quickly, "I'm sure everything is going to be okay real soon and I'll be free from this",She said.

"Well Delancy, First it's high time you became independent, Look the wedding planning business you set up, All your clients are your mother's friends or business partners", Jonas said.
"I thought of that before, you're right. Let's go",She said.

"You okay?"
"I'm very good." She smiled and they left to the store.

"Hell no! I never said I was interested", Zak said to his friend.
"Zak, what's wrong with you? Since Lauren left, you've not been involved with any girl, are you still hurt?".
"Tony, I'm okay like this and hurt? I forgot about Lauren six years ago, I'm just to busy than to be fooling around with girls, remember I have a grandma to think about", Zak said.

Tony looked at his and shake his head "You have more than enough to feed yourself and Grandma Patty and that doesn't stops you from going into a relationship, you're 25 for goodness sake."
"Oh God! Help me from this dude, I've heard you, I'll look for a girl but not that bitch", Zak said "Anyways I have to leave now I'll see you later, I've got work", he said.
"Okay dude, Bye"
"Bye."

Delancy and Jonas drove into the stores garage and came out of the car. She was already about to enter when she saw that Jonas wasn't following.
"Jonas, what are you doing?", She called. " I'll meet you inside, need to get something."

She rolled her eyes and turned to go inside. She turned sharply and slipped, about to reach the ground when strong hands caught her. Thinking it was Jonas, She looked at the man and saw the most handsome man she has ever seen, his green mesmerizing eyes, she could feel pink orbs surrounding them, his blond hair. Gosh, he was perfect, she thought to herself.

Bell from a nearby church rang! It was twelve!
She stood upright and smiled at the man that just helped her. "Thank you", She said to him. The man smiled back at her and left for his car.
Then Jonas came grinning from ear to ear at her, "I saw that",he said.
"Saw what?", Delancy replied while her cheeks heated. "Oh my goodness, Dey you're blushing", Jonas said widening his eyes.
"Shut up, Let's go"

They got the stuffs they want and put it in the car. She was thankful Jonas didn't bring up the topic again but while in the car, he brought it up again.
"Do you like him?", he asked.
"Who", She said pretending not to understand what he was saying. "That guy you met at the store"
"I don't even know him, how would I like him",She said.

"Mhm, Del I know you well, you like him and I ship the both of you", he said acting like a girl.
"Ship? Are you crazy? I might not meet him again", She said laughing.
"if he's the one, I'm sure you'll meet him", Jonas said.

They took what they bought to the office and worked a bit at the hall where the wedding they were planning was to be held. After the close of the day's work, Delancy went home and for the first time in forever, with a smile on her face. She wants to meet this guy again. She slept peacefully and this time she didn't dream of her father. She dreamt of the perfect guy and her together.
