A Blessing in Disguise

an opal pendant cast in a beautiful gold setting with tiny Diamond roses  around the stone and I literally start tearing up
"Look at the back" brad says in a soft voice
I turn the necklace over and see
"B.J.T.C.y/n 4ever" engraved in little letters and I just can't stop looking at how beautiful it is, I look up with tears forming in my eyes,  I'm speechless, no words come out I just give them a big group hug and softly let the tears flow
"Guys I don't even know what to say, this is the most beautiful necklace I have ever seen, how did you know my favorite stone was opal?" I say softly
"Brad told us that it was your favorite so we had it made" Connor says resting his hand on my shoulder
"I can't thank you enough for letting me work with all of you seriously like you guys know I've never been super close with my family and I just- I can't-"

Before we know it we are all pretty drunk and having a great time.

I make my rounds to my friends and family saying thank you to everyone who came and I finally catch back up with Luke and it's time to talk

"Hey how about we go find Isabella to help us out" I say in a motherly tone hoping he listens to me and makes this easy
