A Blessing in Disguise

"That was rude" I here the voice say
"Yes it was rude I live here too brad" I here another voice say
They are pretty far away so I can't quite make out what is being said
"I'm sorry I was just caught off guard, you should be in America and you should be in Barcelona" brad says

I decided to get off the bed and go out into the living room too see who it was.
I come around the corner and I see tristan and Luke.

"Y/N!" Tristan screams and runs over to me giving me a hug
"FUCK" I scream and Tristan let's me go quickly which makes brad dart over to me super fast to catch me from falling
"Oh my god I'm so sorry!" Tristan says almost tearing up
"No no it's okay you didn't mean to" I say gritting my teeth in pain
"God I'm so sorry I just missed you and I'm so glad you are okay, you scared the living shit out of us" Tristan says stroking my cheek
"Yeah pretty fucking stupid huh?" I say with a chuckle
"Hey buttercup" Luke says in a soft voice and I didn't even realize he walked over to us
"Hi Luke" I say with a weak grin not knowing if he remembers me telling him I had feelings for brad
"I'm sorry again what are you two doing  here. Tris why aren't you in Barcelona and Luke how do you know where we live?" Brad jumps in very confused still holding me with my back pressed up against his chest
"Oh right hahaha well Joe was going to fly back and make sure you and y/n got on your flight because you're late to fucking everything and we have a show tomorrow night, but I volunteered to come instead because I missed my queen" Tristan says which makes brad shake his head
"Joe will never treat me like an adult" Brad says with a chuckle
"I flew back because well... I needed to see that you were okay in person" Luke says "and I texted Connor and he gave me your address"
"Gotcha" Brad says
"Y/n do you mind if we talk for a second?" Luck asks me
"No not at all, it's good to see you Luke" I say and we walk over to the kitchen leaving tris and brad laughing about something stupid which makes me smile, there bromance is the cutest

"Look I just I..." Luke says chocking up
"What is it?" I ask
"Y/n I'm so sorry. I know it's my fault. I don't remember much from you birthday but I do remember getting mad and running towards brad and you tried to stop me and slipped and fell on all the glass. I know it's my fault and I don't know if I can ever forgive myself for it. I'm so so sorry" Luke says with tears streaming down his face
"Luke it's not your fault I promise please don't blame this on yourself" I say whipping a tear from his cheek
"Yes it is! I was just so sad and angry because you don't feel the same about me and I shouldn't have ever threatened to hurt brad, if you are happy with him I need to back off"
"Luke shhh! I didn't tell him" I scream in a whisper "Wait what? You haven't told him you have feelings?" Luke says confused
"No like it's not like that. I'm not telling him there is no way he likes me back" I say "y/n you have to tell him" Luke says
"No. I don't want to talk about this and I'm begging you please don't say a word to anyone" I say
"Of course I won't I swear" Luke says

"Y/n come here I want to talk!" Tristan whines
"just second babe" I say with a laugh
"Luke please don't say anything" I say as I walk back to tris
"I'm seriously so happy you are okay, like non of us wanted to leave you but you know" Tristan says kissing me head
"thanks Tris I missed you guys too, means so much that brad stayed and took care of me" I say with a blush
"Yeah what's going on with you and him? Are y'all like a thing?" He asks with his eyes raised
"What no way! We are just friends I swear" I say
"Mm hmm" tris say teasing me
"I'm for real Tristan. Just friends." I say

Is it weird when I say that it hurts my chest "just friends"? Lying about my feelings has actually started to hurt.

"Luke are you crashing here tonight?" Brad asks
"If that's okay? I will gladly take the couch" Luke says
"Oh um I was going to sleep there but we can share" I say trying to throw Tristan off if he had any suspicions about me and brad
"I mean you can sleep with me" brad says
"no no it's okay me and Luke can snuggle up, we got used to it over the years" I say with a chuckle
"Oh okay" brad says with a disappointed tone
"Well I'm off to bed this jet lag is bad" tris says and closes his door

Brad brings pillows and blankets out for me and Luke and Luke helps me get comfortable with my arms
"goodnight " brad says not looking back which is weird....
