Chapter 4

----- December 2nd, 8:45 PM – Time-Space Administration Bureau Headquarters -----

On an elevator somewhere within the structure, Amy is briefing in on the reports of today’s incident.

Amy: According to test results, her wounds aren’t that bad. However, the root of a mage’s power, the linker core is shrunk to a slightly smaller size than usual. Her linker core would have been shrunk even further if it wasn’t for Novena’s intervention on the process.

Lindy: I see. Then that’s the same flow of events as all the other cases.

Amy: Yes. There’s no doubt about it. Looks like our vacation is on hold and from the looks of things, we’ll have to deal with this case.

Lindy: That can’t be helped. This is the type of job we’re supposed to do.

Amy: Ah ha…

Lindy: Oh yes, I’m very glad that Novena-kun’s alive and well. Really, that boy had me worried to no end.

Amy: You’re quite fond of him, aren’t you captain?

Lindy: But of course. He was the first person and a child at that to actually saved us all from our demise, how else would I feel but gratitude for such an act. Speaking of which, how is he and specifically Alicia-chan for that matter. I felt unease at him losing half of his right arm from the battle.

Amy: According to Yuuno-kun, the loss of half of his right arm shouldn’t be a problem due to his unbelievably fast regeneration and that half a day is all it takes to fully grow that loss half of the arm back. As for Alicia-chan, her linker core was NEVER there to begin with but somehow she got it back and it was an absurd amount of mana too. The obvious explanation would be the Jewel Seed in her heart that was supplying her with that amount of mana. Mana that is completely way higher than Nanoha-chan and Fate-chan’s mana combined.

Lindy: And she has total control over that amount?

Amy: It’s still brand new and she’s only just activated just recently. I can pretty much say that Alicia-chan is a lot like Nanoha-chan in regards to lack of proper training and with a high amount of mana but is somewhat natural at fighting despite that fact.

Lindy: Interesting. I’d like to see what the higher ups think of this. Where are those two right now?

Amy: For Novena-kun, he’s at the room where Nanoha-chan is currently resting while Alicia-chan is with her “younger” sister, Fate-chan.

Somewhere else, Fate and Alicia are walking side by side with Chrono, who looks just as tense as usual.

Chrono: No, it’s a good thing that your injuries weren’t serious.

Fate could be seen with her left hand being wrapped in bandages as she apologizes for making him worry.

Chrono: Between you and Nanoha, I’ve gotten used to it. Don’t worry about it.

Her worried look was then replaced with a relived smile until he directs his attention to the “older” Testarossa.

Chrono: As for you, Alicia. What were you thinking, going out there when you are still in need of medical examinations!

Alicia: Ah ha ha… Sorry Chrono-kun.

Chrono: Seriously though… I have to wonder if Fate ever inherited that sort of behavior…

Fate: W-What!? H-Hey, I’m already am my own person! The only thing me and onee-chan ever shared are our looks but we both have vastly different personalities.
