Nanoha: That's it Alicia-chan, you're nearly there. Stay focus now.
Lucky Star: 90… 91… 92… 93…
Fate: Almost there…
Lucky Star: 97… 98… 99… 100…
Alicia: *Gasp* Ah…
Minako: Alicia-chan!
Alicia: Oh right! Last one!
With one last command, she redirects her cyan shooter to the falling tin can. Unfortunately it missed by a few inches and the end result is the tin can hitting Alicia's head with a loud "thonk".
Alicia: Itai!
Alicia immediately falls to her back, prompting everyone to gather around her.
Nanoha: W-Wah! Alicia-chan! Are you okay?
Novena helps Alicia on her feet while the girl in question rubs the part of her head where the tin can had hit her.
Alicia: Itai… That hurt but I'm alright.
Yuuno: Of course you'll be fine but what about your mind? How are you mentally feeling?
Alicia: Truthfully, rather strained… I had no idea that you went through this much trouble control a shooting spell before, Nanoha-chan.
Nanoha: Yeah. It's quite straining indeed. It took a while for me to get used to it but so far you did pretty good. You've reached the same number of hits I did everyday whenever I end my shooting spell control training.
Alicia: But… I didn't get the last hit though…
Minako: W-Well that what people call progress. Isn't that right, Novena-chan?
Novena nods as she pulls out her journal.
Novena: [Eyes: Green] "Yeah, that's progress. So far, you had only managed to hit the tin can 69 times before your mind started to give away but this time, you managed to get 100 of them. That is a really big progress improvement there!"
Fate: Yeah, like she said. You've did excellently, Onee-chan.
Alicia: Awww~ Thanks everyone. But now that I end today's practice with shooting control, what else is there since we still got an hour before breakfast?
Nanoha: Actually, I've been meaning to ask Minako something.
Minako: What's that?
Nanoha: From what I heard from Alicia-chan, you had a very hard time dodging shots. Is that true?
Minako: A-Alicia-chan told you that!? W-Well it is kind of true that I had quite a hard time dodging them but I'm improving! (And I still can't believe Nanoha-chan and Fate-chan had been keeping their magical influence a secret from the others… especially the fact that Yuuno and Fate's dog are actual sentient...)
Nanoha: Then if you don't mind, can I help you with that?
Minako: I guess there's no harm in asking. Sure, what is it that I need to dodge?
Nanoha then brings out a single pink orb that floats on her fingertip.
Nanoha: I want you to try and dodge my controlled shooting spell. Don't worry about taking any the hit, it won't hurt you. I've made sure of that but what's the point of the training if you can't dodge it, right?
