Chapter 19

----- 22nd December, 4:45 PM, Yagami Residence -----

Inside the kitchen area of the Yagami household, Shamal is communicating with Signum via her device when she was done preparing dinner for the other knights. She told Signum that everything has been going well at the current point. Signum, who was currently on another planet said that the Bureau wasn't able to fully follow their activities and that she was hoping that their master wasn't feeling too lonely as of late.

Shamal told her that Hayate hasn't said anything but her friends had been visiting her often but she also can't help but noticed that Novena, Alicia and Minako are nowhere to be seen over the past three days, which worries the healer since those three kids were the knights' most trusted and faithful helpers. She also said that it might not look like it but Hayate always seems to worry about the well being of the R-Typer whenever they suddenly didn't show up to visit her when she should have like always. Vita and Zafira volunteered to go out to search for them while looking for Linker Cores to gather and so far they have yet to find traces of the three kids.

Signum ends their conversation, saying that she doesn't want to worry her master, so she will return in a few days. Upon ending her transmission, she checks to see that she still has only sixty more pages left to fill.

----- 23rd December, 7:12 PM - Uminari City, Fujimi Town, Takamachi residence -----

Inside the house belonging to none other than Nanoha herself, she and her family were about to enjoy a very delightful dinner before Christmas Eve comes tomorrow. Fate is also invited to have dinner with them as well, much to Nanoha's delight.

Momoko: Here you go.

Shiro: Oh, that looks tasty.

Nanoha: Wow!

Everyone minus Fate: Itadakimas!

Momoko: You should eat up too, Fate-chan.

Fate: Yes… Thank you so much.

Kyoya: Here, Nanoha, a plate for you.

Nanoha: Thanks. Here you go, Fate-chan.

Fate: Thanks.

Momoko: Miyuki, you've gotten much better at cooking!

Miyuki looks down to see the puppy form of Arf joyfully eating her beefy meat.

Shiro: Are you going to be spending Christmas Eve with your family after all, Fate-chan?

Fate: Yes… Well, for the time being.

Momoko: I see.

Shiro: We'll be busy as hell this Christmas Eve as well.

Nanoha: I'll make the price tags and pop-up signs tonight!

Miyuki: Please do.We'll need a good night's sleep tonight!

Nanoha: Midoriya's Christmas cakes are very popular, so we have lots of customers on Christmas Eve.

Miyuki: On top of that, we're open really late, for tge people who spend Christmas Eve with lovers or friends.

Fate: I see.

The teenage girl suddenly nudges close to her elder brother in a teasing gesture.

Miyuki: You lucked out, Kyoya! You can spend the entire time together with Shinobu in the cafe!

Kyoya: That doesn't have much to do with anything.

Miyuki: Speaking of friends, where is Novena-chan, Nanoha?
