Chapter 16

----- Time Skip, December 13th, Morning, Bus Stop Near the Temporary TSAB HQ -----

Nanoha, Fate and Alicia are seen walking together to the bus stop wearing winter jackets over their uniform since it was starting to get a bit cold outside until Novena comes flying and stopping right in front of them with a bright smile on her face.

Nanoha: Ah, Good Morning, Novena-chan!

Fate: Oh, Good Morning there.

Alicia: Good Morning! Did you sleep well?

Novena happily nods.

Alicia: Hehe, good to hear. I slept like a real log back there.

Fate: *Sweat drop* And you were really hard to wake up…

Alicia: Hey! Cut me some slack, I was really tired after all.

Nanoha: *Sweat drop* Ah ha ha ha…

The four girls resume walking while talking.

Nanoha: Are you feeling all right?

Fate: I'm a bit unsure about not being able to use half of my magic, but physically, I'm all better.

Alicia: I see, that's good to hear.

Fate: Yeah. Thank you, Onee-chan, Novena-chan. For rescuing me back there.

Alicia: Well of course!

Novena: [Eyes: Yellow] (Any time~)

Once they've reached the bus stop, they all spotted a crowd of students waiting in line for the bus to come. She switches to telepathy to continue conversing with Nanoha and Alicia, who also had just learned how to do telepathy thanks to Fate.

As for Novena, even after all this time, neither Nanoha nor Fate could communicate with Novena via telepathy, which is something they find very odd since telepathy can be used on just about anything that has a mind of it's own but for Novena's case, it completely blockes off any form of telepathy trying to access her mind unless if Unison occurs, then they could talk to her via telepathy.

Fate: [For the time being, Nanoha, Alicia, until we're called out, they want us to live quietly over here.]

Nanoha: [I guess it's like we're on standby?]

Alicia: [Yup! From what I heard, they're going to increase the number of armed agents, and switch the main focus to pursuit research. As for those aerial mages, I haven't heard a word about them lately but I'm pretty sure they are to remain on standby until a Bydo threat is detected.]

Nanoha: [I see.]

In a could of moments, the bus arrives to pick up the students. The four girls reached school in a matter of minutes and Nanoha, Fate and Novena when straight for class until Suzuka approaches them.

Suzuka: Ah Nanoha-chan, Fate-chan! I just got word that Hayate was hospitalized!

Nanoha: Hospitalized? Hayate is?

Suzuka: Yes… I received a call late yesterday afternoon. She didn't seem to be that bad, but apparently there are a lot of tests, so it will be a while.

Arisa: I see. Then how about all of us go together to visit her after school? Me, you, Nanoha, Fate, Novena, Minako and Alicia.

Suzuka: Is that all right?

Arisa: She's your friend, right, Suzuka? You said you were going to introduce us to her anyway.

Suzuka: Yeah, I did. I kind of forgot to tell you that Hayate-chan also just so happens to be friends with Novena-chan a lot longer than we do and me and Minako had just started being friends with her.
