What they saw next was far worse than they have anticipated. Not only did the Book of Darkness is completed but a Bydo Armada made a nasty appearance on the scene.
Lindy: What about Chrono and the Aerial Mage Team Strike Alpha?
Operator #1: He has just returned with what appears to be the main perpetrators who orchestrated all of this while the Aerial Mage Team had just been deployed on the scene.
Lindy: (First the book of darkness has awaken and now this fleet… how are we to deal with this sort of problem…)
----- On Earth, Uminari City -----
Book of Darkness: Diabolic… Emission…
The sphere begins to collapses in on itself.
Fate: A dimensional attack!
Book of Darkness: Blend into darkness…
It then expands outwards rapidly towards the approaching Bydo fleet but that doesn't mean Nanoha and her friends are free from the spell's blast radius.
Minako: Papa, please take us away from here!
Aegis: Say no more! Grab on, kids, this viper is making a rum for it!
Computer System: Speed Up.
As soon as everyone grabs hold of the star fighter, the Vic Viper pilot immediately moves away from the blast radius while the Bydo weren't so lucky. Once the blast subsidized, the Viper slows down to a stop as they both turn around to look at the result of the blast. Surprisingly, only a small portion of the fleet was destroyed by the spell while the rest made it out safe and looked completely umharmed.
Book of Darkness: This many actually survived…?
Meanwhile, everyone who held tight towards the star fighter were shocked to see the still surviving Bydo fleet.
Fate: A powerful dimensional attack and yet…
Nanoha: A lot of them somehow managed to slip away from it.
Minako: Huh? Where's Alicia-chan?
Right on cue, they saw a rather injured but still fine, Alicia carrying the disembodied remains of Nevada.
Nanoha: Nevada-kun…
Nanoha was just about to cry when Alicia immediately reassures her.
Alicia: Nanoha-chan! Don't give up on him just yet!
Fate: Onee-chan…
Alicia: True, he's nothing more than just a human who got sliced in half but I know for sure that he's DEFINITELY not the type of person who can easily die from such an attack.
Nanoha: But… But he-
Alicia: Got stabbed to the chest and possibly the heart? Yeah… I can't deny the possibility that it is too fatal for him to survive that. But I believe… that he'll come back to us. I knew he will! And until he gets back up on his feet, we'll keep on fighting!
Nanoha is moved by Alicia's determination and she too felt a lot more better and also putting her trust on her friend.
Nanoha: Alicia-chan… Alright, let's do our absolute best and save Hayate-chan while we wait for him once more!
