Both Novena and Vita arrived in at a snowy planet world as their first destination to collect Linker Cores. Upon slowing down, Novena switches to the R-9A “Arrowhead” attire.
Vita: Huh, so you DO have more than two device set ups. This would mean that there’s more to you then I thought you were.
Novena nods.
Vita: And if you are wondering why we’re here, believe it or not, gigantic beast creatures also just so happen to also HAVE Linker Cores but unlike mages, the Linker Cores are not all that very powerful and could be considered as a light meal for the Book of Darkness. It’s an annoyingly repetitive process with very little reward since those giant beasts tend to be annoyingly strong and only a living being possesses a Linker Core and if it’s dead then that would be considered a complete waste of time and energy. Understand where I’m going with this?
Novena nods again.
Vita: Good. Try to at least restrain or tire the beast long enough for me to extract its Linker Core. Do that and we should be fine.
After flying about for a few moments Vita spotted what looks to be three machines of sort on the ground. To Vita’s surprise, said machine suddenly spew energy shots at her.
Vita: W-What in the!?
She immediately pull up her barrier and when Novena looks at the machine in question, it was in fact a turret gun, one she knew all too well.

Her thoughts were cut short when a sudden flight of twelve fighter-like creatures suddenly make an appearance and begin a collision course on the two girls.

Novena: [Eyes: Grey] (So there’s Bydo activity in this planet… Very well, initiating Bydo hunt!)
Novena begins to skewer on the bydo organic fighters with the Vulcan cannons and lay waste on the energy turret right below her with depth bombs. Vita was genuinely surprised when she saw how suddenly serious the R-Typer become when they encounter the strange machines. Just then the snow above suddenly begins to collapse and reveal a giant, rotating hemispherical machine with thorn-like structures at the front side of the machine.
