She kept sinking till she almost reached the bottom of the pcean, then a hand caught her. She was losing consciousness, he dragged her out, to the bank of the ocean.
"She conscious?" A female voice said.
"Yeah. Do you think..."
"Go ahead. Let's take her in, she's lost so much blood, she's probably got a bullet in her."she felt her weight lift off the ground in his arms. She didnt know what was going on, she didnt know how to react, she felt pains everywhere.
"Papa, there's someone we'd like you to see." He dropped the cigar on the centre table and followed his daughter to the guest room. He froze in his spot when he saw her, om the bed, while his son tended to her wounds.
"We found her falling off a cliff after a loud gunshot." He strolled to her bed, and sat beside her.
"I managed to get the bullet out and stop the bleeding. " they watched their father, as he held her hand and placed it on his chest as tears streamed down his face.
"Papa... do you know her?"
"Samarth is dead." He said in a broken tone.
"Oh." Was all they could say. No one said a word again.
"Let her be, till she regains consciousness. It wont be easy for her." He said. They all left the room, shutting the door.
"I think we should call a doctor. We cabt trust Raj fully."
"Hmph... jealous coz I'm better than you. "
"I'm not ready for the two of you right now. Call the doctor Sonia."
"Daddddyyyyyy.... I've always loved you Dawn.... a Thakur is always strong." The memories kept flooding her mind,she was losing it trying to control, she had beads of sweat on her forehead, her veins coming out, she was holding on to the sheets very tight, until Raj walked into the room. He held on to her hand , massaging it softly, and began to speak soft words to her which made her calm down. Slowly she opened her eyes,
"Am I dead already? Didn't know angels could be this hot?" She said smiling making him chuckle.
"You probably hit your head while you fell off the cliff and saying so much nonsense. You're not dead, I saved you."
"Bastard."
"Excuse me? For someone that's just coming conscious , you sure are a bloody hot headed bitch."
"Exactly. Why did you save a bloody hot headed bitch like me? I didnt want to live. Why should I live huh? For what? For whom? I'm so alone in this world. I'm an orphan. " she started crying, "my uncle, the one I considered family, the one in which I took his son as my elder brother, killed my mother. He killed her, he took her away from me, then what else did he do? On my wedding day, he came and took my father from me. What else? I wanted him to take me away from this wicked world. He was almost successful, then you ruined everything. Gosh!" Raj didn't say anything.
"My father. He's who you can live for. "
"You've lost it."
"I haven't. I'll tell him you're conscious." he said and left the room.
"Such a strange person. God, why didnt you allow me to die? You happily took my parents from me, why? And when the devil decided to send me to them, you shut the gates. Why?"
"Because you haven't achieved anything yet." The voice broke through her thoughts.
"I've seen you before. My father's best friend. Anand. He called you that."
"Yes. I'm his friend."
"Where were you when all happened?" He remained silent. "You knew it would happen, didnt you? And you did nothing!! Why am I here? Why do you act like you care all of a sudden? Why!!!!!" She screamed at him and aimed things at him making Sonia and Raj rush in.
"Hey,"
"Leave!" She said.
" you have attitude. Youre in our house." Raj said to her.
"Right." She pulled out the drip from her veins, got down from the bed, and staggered towards the door.
"Where are you going to?"
"To make sure I die. " she said. She opened the door and walked out. Anand slapped Raj.
"That is no way to speak to someone who's going through hell. She feels alone. Thats why we're here. To make her strong enough to fight for what was taken from her. "
"And then you'll leave. Like her father did. He left her." Sonia said.
"I have trained you guys. To be strong and independent. Dependent only on each other, fighting, making sure you win. You enjoyed your childhood, didnt you? Your teenage years, you had girlfriends, turned my house to a club, and now you're both 26 and 24. I havent requested anything from you. I made sure you got the all of the love I could offer. But her? They've been strict from the onset. She had never stepped out of her house. Her mother was killed on her birthday. I was there. And her father, he told me he could handle everything. That jerk. He died on the day of her wedding, while she was taking her rounds. They killed her supposed husband. They shot her off, she wanted to die , so she could be with her family, and be in peace. She knows nothing, you could say she's naive. You're oder than she is, more experienced, but yet you're very immature. The two of you better get out there abd bring her back."
