Days passed by, with none of them saying a word to each other. The days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. They had managed to conduct a burial for Sir Anand, sending off his ashes at the river near by.

Fast forward to today, the room had it's usual silence, everyone to their own corners, until Dawn spoke up.

"so, what's next?"

"how?"

"how? Really guys, what exactly was expected of us by Sir Anand, mourn away all of our chances? If he were to be alive, he'd have punished us one way or the other. Remember, his death was a part of the plan. The most painful part so far, but we haven't gone anywhere guys. We haven't made a move, and that way, he will get away with everything. Sonia, what was uncle's plan?"

"he wanted you to break the ice first, after his death."

"and I'm glad things are going his way. What's next?" Sonia walked over to the shelf where the books are,

"are you ready for this?" Sonia asked, Dawn looked at her confused,

"yeahhh," she said slowly, Sonia nodded as she pressed a button and stepped back. The shelf began to open, separating into two, giving way to a short passage. Dave and Dawn stared at it with wide eyes,

"follow my lead," Sonia said, Raj followed after her, then Dawn and Dave, it was a short path, led with lamps hanging on the bricked wall, the door shut automatically once Dave walked in,

"where is this place?" Dawn asked, but no one replied. Just then, Sonia placed her hand on the wall, and then some cracking sounds were made, from the floor to the roof then to the wall, and the door opened, wider.

"welcome to our very own secret room."

"oh my goodness!" Dawn said in surprise, as she walked in, there were computers, different machines, "how long did it take for him to have this place built?"

"he said ten years, if not more,"

"he had an idea of what's going to happen?"

"he only suspected, it was for emergencies. Like this when he won't be here with us," the sudden realization of his absence made her stomach twist. She sat on one of the control chairs, staring at the every button,

"what's on your mind Dawn?" Dave asked her,

"this mission, is for everyone, every loved one, that that beast has taken from us."

"including my mother" Dave's voice echoed in everyone's minds, as all heads turned to him. Dawn turned around to face him, studying his features, his fist folded at his sides, with veins bulging out, the anger that filled his eyes, she got up from the chair and held onto him,

"he wouldn't..."

"i was in the room Dawn. He made me lie, he made me lie to everyone! He, he..." he said in anger, his tone mixed with anger, and sadness, "he hit her, he always hit her, he hit her everywhere, he... he smacked her head against... ag... against the wall, she couldn't any longer. He told me, 'ssshhhh boy, ssshhh, don't tell anyone. Mommy was stubborn, she deserves it' and when I didn't want to comply, he tortured me. He'd have me tied up, burying my head inside a bucket full of water, he had me whipped, everyday, and threatened to have me killed the day I spoke to anyone about what he did. He had her autopsy reports changed." the room was silent, no one could find the right words to say, they were all confined to their own thoughts, except Raj, who spoke out his mind,

"I don't like you, I don't believe you. And you all will see, you're letting this guy, he can be his father's secret agent for all I care!!"

"that's enough Raj! Can you be sensitive for once in your miserable life! What the hell?" Dawn screamed at him, he stepped closer to her,
