"I wonder where the hell she went." Raj complained as they walked through the bushes.

"Well, this wouldn't have happened if someone did not cross the line."

"What's so special about her anyla way? I mean, she lost her parents, bla bla... father is totally concerned for her. He is never concerned for himself. All he does is train people to fight for their rights. And this... her case ... is way out of it. Father already knows his dead...."

"Shut up Raj. Let's not go there. It isnt her fault anyways, and neither is it father's. You know that he constantly blames himself for her parent's death. He cant seem to let go of the guilt. Right now, we should rather look for a way to bring her back home and make her understand that we arent here to make her suffer, to make her see reasons why she should be alive. To take back what was taken from her." Raj just mumbled some words underneath his breath which Sonia made sure to ignore.

"We split and meet at the end. If you find her, call me, I'll do same." Raj rolled his eyes like a spolit brat and ran walked away in an opposite direction. The entire bush was silent except for the chirping birds, and the rustling leaves and branches.

Sonia had her eyes out and searching, making sure not to leave any stone unturned. As she walked farther, she caught sight of a figure laying on the floor. She took out her gun, took it out of safe mode and kept it behind her, as she carefully and calculatively took her steps to the body. Getting closer, she realized that it was Dawn's body. She placed two of her fingers, her index and middle finger, under her neck to feel the pulse.

"She's unconscious." She said to herself as she put the gun back in her jeans amd tried to lift Dawn.

"Come back home Raj. Found her. She's unconscious. " she said and ended the call immediately not waiting for any reply from him. She had Dawn on her back as she began to walk away.

~

Dawn had a drip connected to her veins as she laid unconscious on the bed with Raj being left to keep an eye on her. He had a novel in his hands as he was always checking to see if she had woken up. Few hours later and he was asleep. His head placed on the bed where she laid.

"Dad?" Dawn called out unconsciously. She was in a trance.

"Thakurs don't give up Dawn. You need to take it back." Her father said to her, it was like she wasnt on earth anymore. Her father was on another side, something transparent , like a barrier , separated the two of them. "Take it a from him. "

"I cant do it alone dad. He's too big, he's greater than..."

"Wrong Dawn! Nobody is greater than the Creator. He alone has given you the strength, the people, the resources, the opportunity, to take it all away from him and bring justice. Take the justice Dawn. You're not needed here. Dont be stubborn.... when the time is right..."
as he kept talking, his image began to fade, his voice turning to an echo.

"Dad...."she called out trying to reach out to him but all she did was hit the barrier, tears slipped down her face.

The heart monitor made a beeping sound which woke Raj up. He looked at it, motion to the lines on the monitor began, her fingers , moved a bit.

"Doctor !!!"he screamed as he rushed to the sitting room where his father and the doctor were, his father who was already scared, scared that he wouldnt fulfill the promise he made to his best friend.  They jumped up in fear as they saw him race to the living room panting like he'd run a marathon.

"She..  she ... she moved her fingers. Her.... heart...  heart monitor is beeping... she's coming..."before he completed his sentence, they a rushed to the room where she was, she was trying to wake. Her eyes were squeezed shut, gripping the sheets beside her very tightly. The doctor took off the oxggen mask, and placed the stethoscope on her chest. He took out an injection from the bag, drew in the solution, and injected her wrist with it which made her calm a bit.

"What did you give to her?" Their father asked.

"She'll come around soon. She's out of danger. I can leave now and a nurse can come after. I have left drug prescriptions on her bedside table, she should wake up... latest this night. If anything happens, don't forget to call me. Okay? I should be on my way now." The doctor said.

"Raj, be with her I'll see the doctor off." He said before leaving the room.
Raj just stared at the pale looking Dawn , black circles underneath her eyes, pale cracked lips. He adjusted the blanket on her and sat down on the chair, resuming the novel he was reading.

"My head," he heard a light voice. He dropped the novel immediately and went over to her side.
"Great ! I escaped death just to meet you again!" She said rolling her eyes.

"You're welcome. How you feeling?"

"Worse when i saw your face."

"That means you're doing great!" He said sarcastically and returning to his chair placing his legs on her bed, crossing one over the other and resuming the novel, but still spying on her to see what she was doing. He noticed she tried sitting up.

"A little.. Raj please help me sit up...  wouldn't kill you. You know?" He said like it was a fact as he got up from the chair and helped her sit up.

"Your name was never important to me. Don't you have something better to do than sit and watch me? "

"Believe me hon. I wouldn't ever want to be neaf you, you're too uptight and full of pride. But my father made me sit here and believe me, if i had a second option of leaving you alone,  to suffer, I'd grab it by all means. "He said making her roll her eyes.

"Soon, you're gonna roll your eyes back that they'd not come forward again."he said.

"Why wouldn't your sister be here  ? Gosh! I cant stand you and dont think I'll be able to cope." She said. He shook his head and gave her the soup the doctor had recommended she took.

"What's that? Looks so green and disgusting."she said making irritated faces.

"You're welcome. Home remedy specially made by my sister, recommended by the doctor. "

"I'm not taking that. Eeewww..." he shook his head and took the spoon, scooped a reasonable amount, and placed it infront of her lips. She tightened her lips turning her head to different sides.

"You're gonna need that to get out of bed Ms. Thakur. You don't have anymore time on your side. Time waits for no one and your teacher has a marked time on this earth. Let the boy feed you, take your medication and rest. Rest all you can, work begins soon." Raj's father said with his hands folded behind him. Immediately he turned to leave the room. Raj turned to Dawn and raised brows at her.

"You dont want to be too weak for your opponent once again. Do you?"he asked. Her mind goes back to when her father was killed, to when her mother's bloody body was brought in, her father was all covered in a pool of his own blood, Dennis was killed and how she was shot off the cliff.

Thakurs dont give up Dawn. You need to take it back.

She sighed as she relived the moments,  the bad memories over and over again.

"My hand is not a machine to not feel pains from waiting for so long hanging in the air waiting for a certain someone to take out of it."he said rolling his eyes , but this time, he got no reaction from her.

"I wish that everything could rewind back to the good old days when everything seemed to be peaceful and everyone pleased amongst each other."

"We all wish for that." Raj replied absentmindedly.

"What do you know about what I'm saying?"

"Well, it's a story I'll tell you if you finish all of this now." Dawn gave him a questioned look and seeing hw wasnt saying anything nodded.

"Makw sure your story is worth it."

"Oh baby baby, it's worth it. Now be a good girl and take."
