Hello!!! I am sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, désolé, so sorry, for the Super Long wait!!! It's been 2 weeks plus aHHHH thats long for me. PArtly...because I was working on another oneshot, that was taking up a LOT of time, and I really wanted one of the oneshots to be a Halloween baby, so I moved this boi up forward instead. Lmao 😂😂😂

So...this is actually my second time writing 'angst' (the first time was When can we Meet again? see previous chapters), so I hope it would go ok. I had high hopes from the request, and I hope it will be expressed in the writing itself. Fingers crossed!! 🤞  Lot's of hope!!

And another thing.....

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!!🎃🎃🎃💀💀💀  Well, it's the 31st here already where I live, so It's halloween here. For some people You'll have to wait another one more day XDXD So technically, this could count as a Halloween special, maybe? I don't know, I tried my best, it's not really halloween themed, but...It has zombies in it >:P 🧟

Hope you all enjoy!! Onto the story we go!! (May I recommend tissues....just a random suggestion)

WArnings: Zombies, Blood, blood drawing (yes this scares me. Just seeing the needle going into your arm and ughhh), a little bit of gore at the end bits. Character death (sorry not sorry)

Russia walked into the sterile white room, his black but cleanly polished boots with not even a trace of dirt on them thumping on the white tiles, making a echoing sound ring into the long hallway. The automatic sliding doors swished closed behind him, bleeping a red color and then silence.

His long white coat swished along with his every step, and he took out the pen clipped in it's breast pocket to tap it calmly on his clipboard, which was holding other papers and notes. The long hallway was full of rooms, visible from inside and out from it's large glass windows. People were locked in them, one in each as they stared at him through their glass windows. Russia tried to pay them no mind, walking faster toward his destination.

There were so many of them, humans, states, and even other countryhumans like himself. The humans sat quietly in their rooms/cells, laying down on their beds or just sitting on their white, pristine floors, staring at nothing. The other states looked at him, their white eyes boring through the thick glass and into his skin. It was also noted that the human 'patients' were on his left, and the country states were on his right.

He glanced at his clipboard, and pretended to write something on it, just to act like the stares didn't affect him. It wasn't his fault all these people were locked her, but it still made him feel guilty. It all happened after...The Problem started. Then the Apocalypse. Here was one of the authorised 'Safe Havens' around the globe. Plenty of people came in, trembling and shaking with fear and worry. At first they were treated nicely, redressed and cleaned up, given food. Then they were whisked to the West wing of their fortress, their blood tested.

Then they were separated. One group, usually the larger portion, would be taken to the Backyard, the outskirts behind the Fortress, where a huge hole was dug, its insides plated with lead. Other people, his co-workers, sometimes whispered that that wasn't the first hole, and because there were so many dug before it, and that was why it was currently so close to their Safe Haven. Those people were never seen again. No one else was allowed to go near the Backyard except the soldiers and the next group of people to disappear.

The other group, would be brought further into the West wing, and blood, physical strength, mental health and immune system tested again. Russia was thankful he was not assigned to work there. Screams and crying usually rang from that corridor, and whenever he absolutely had to walk past there, he tried to move as quickly as possible, looking down and ignoring the glass panels allowing him to see in.
