[Tin x Can] If Only I Could Trust

Chapter 11: Part 2

I watched the doctor examine Can and he shook his head at me. In a way I wanted to be embarrassed but I'm sure he saw worse things than the repercussions of me having sex with my boyfriend and pushing him into a fever. I did have a concern about it but it couldn't be helped now. Opening up his bag he took out a few medications and placed them on the desk.

'You need to be more careful Tin. From what you've told me he's prone to this. He seems dehydrated and by his weight I can say that he needs to gain at least ten pounds. I started an IV and he must rest a day.'

I nodded, eyeing the contents he laid out.

'We will be careful after this I promise you.' It was his turn to nod.

'The bottles are antibiotics and pain medications. The tube is also a pain cream for his anus...in case he might be sore there. I also brought a bottle of some lube. Don't forget to use it when being intimate.' He glared at me sternly. 'I know you both are young and vigorous but that area is highly sensitive. Take a break or two between sessions. With that said, I'll let myself out.' He snapped his bag shut and walked towards the door.

'Thank you for coming so quickly.' I said sincerely. The doctor seemed shocked for some reason and then smiled reassuringly at me.

'After all these years of knowing you, I've never heard these words.' He turned and looked at the sleeping Can. 'He's good for you.' 

I smiled at the doctor before he exited the door. He's right. Can was good for me and that's why I could never let him go again no matter what. He made me a better person. He settled all the problems in my mind, and even more so let my nightmares away. He was the only person I have truly loved and wanted to be with. He made me smile which I hadn't ever done. When I say I would do anything for Can, I meant it. Money, riches, family, love...they meant nothing to me without him.

I resumed my ritual of bathing Can and applying his medication. A few hours later he stirred. Once he looked at me his face flamed red. He turned his head away from me. I laughed a little and turned it back to look at me.

'Sorry for putting you in this state yet again.' I ruffled his bangs and he weakly slapped my hand.

'I can't even remember that night and you definitely were a monster. I don't know why I keep asking for your thing. Keep it away from me.' He smirked while looking down at my crotch.

'Stop it Can. You're being naughty and know what you're doing.'  He wrinkled his face up in fake confusion. 'Can.' I warned.

'What?' He blinked innocently.

'You didn't even let me finish and just passed out, can you stop torturing me?'

'I'm hot.' He stated before whipping off the blanket and giving me another innocent look.

I sucked in my breath and hungrily looked him over before standing up quickly. 'Let me make you food.' 

He laughed loudly when I rushed out of the room. Can acted stupid most of the time but in this he knew how to entice me. He wasn't always smooth with it but the end result is still the same. No matter when or where I always wanted to be with him.

Since Can wasn't able to go out to his friends, I arranged for them to come here when he took another nap. Most I recognized but a few I didn't have a clue. He was delighted when they all showed up on a bus. His sister was even happier to see them than he was, to be honest. I'm sure she would be sketching many things tonight. I shook my head inwardly laughing.

It was starting to get late when I cleared my throat loudly. Can's smile fell from his face and he looked from everyone as if he was trying to memorize everything. I could see him trying to hold back tears and I came and sat next to him. 

'Uh...we brought you all here to tell you that we might not see you again.' Can refused to look at them now so he wouldn't get choked up. 'Because of Tin's family we have to go in hiding. Don't blame Tin though, it isn't his fault. His brother...he's just crazy and his family is trying to keep us apart. Before you tell us to break up just look at your partners and see if you can live without them.' 

Ae glared at me as if he hated me until Can threw a balled up tissue at his face without looking. Everyone laughed making him even more upset until Pete hugged him from behind. I knew his kryptonite just like he knew mine. 

'I'm glad you found someone for you and I understand needing to be safe.' Techno was the first to congratulate us. Some guy I don't recall meeting smiled at him making him uncomfortable.

'Yea, we approve if it means you'll be alright. Right guys?' Type coaxed.

Everyone chimed in with their agreements and they all came to hug him.

'Much luck...on your... endeavors...Can.' I almost forgot that guy was here. 

'I have one question though.' Pond leaned closer to Can and whispered loudly. 'Did he fuck you so hard you can't get out the bed?'

Before I could stop him Can had him doubled over from a punch to his abdomen.

Once everyone left Can cried a little. We still had to tell his mother and sister. I was worried about this the most. After voicing my concerns he revealed he had already told them everything via text. I scolded him for it but I actually was slightly relieved. I hadn't met her yet and I'm already taking her son from her so I'm sure she wasn't too happy with me. If I had a child and they did this it would be reasonable to be against it no matter what reason they gave. 

Can was lying with his head on my chest while I stroked his hair. His sobs quieted but I would still feel a drop or two of tears hit my skin once in a while. I rubbed his arm in reassurance. I hoped that it would be fine by morning and that he didn't have any second thoughts. 

'I'm upset I didn't get to help you decorate that apartment.' His bottom lip jutted out. Even though I knew that's not the reason for his tears I let him have it.

'Wherever we go you will have the chance.' 

'Tin, I love you...' His voice quivered.

'I love you too Can. Don't worry. I'll try to think of something.'

My phone began ringing and I hit ignore. Then Can's phone began ringing. Who had both of our numbers besides...I looked down at my phone. It was my mother. Clicking the voicemail I listened intensely.

'What's going on?' 

'My brother. He woke up. I'll go home to not seem out of order. I'll be getting some things before we leave. I couldn't earlier.' I felt Can's body tremble against me and I hugged him tightly to me. 'I'll protect you. Don't worry I said. You saw that I can.' 

'I did...and I also remember someone called me his wife that day. I couldn't argue then but I will now.' He slapped my chest lightly.  'Don't say it again.'

'If you recall then you should also note the fact that you enjoyed it when I said it.' I laughed low.

'No.' He pinched me a little hard.

'Don't lie.'

'I didn't. I'd never lie to you.' He sat up to plead his case and tried to look ridiculously cute by blinking his eyes rapidly and smiling.

I pinched his cheek hard in retaliation.

'You are too naughty today.' I growled. 'If you don't want me to carry you to the car tomorrow with an IV you better go to sleep right now while you still have the use of your legs.'

'One day I'll top you and see how you like it.' Can mumbled when he settled back down onto my chest.

'What did you say?' I said roughly in his ear.

'No-nothing.' 

I never saw a person feign sleep so fast in my life.
